Default Rewatching cbb13, 14 & 15 all at once

Comparing these 3 series, watching them all, skipped the launches cuz i'd probably find them boring, just finished day 1 for all of them.
Thoughts:

CBB13:
Best lineup out of the 3 series, enjoying Jasmine, Evander, Dappy & even Lee! Waiting for the handcuffs to come off though, thats when it gets good!

CBB14:
I actually suprisingly really enjoyed the first episode! I'm really liking Dee much more than when this was on! James is still a proper dick! I love him and hate him at the same time, great viewing! Think im gonna enjoy him much more than Perez! Frenchy, Gary, Leslie all quite eccentric! Wasnt too keen on this series at the time, somehow enjoying it much more now.

CBB15:
Tbh, probably the weakest episode of the 3 I just watched. Perez is really annoying but quite entertaining with him asking all the questions. Ken is actually really sweet so far!! We all know this series gets much better but the start is just a bit yawn.

What do youse think of these 3 series?

I like all three

Frenchy is the best CBB housemate

I would rank them

CBB15 > CBB14 > CBB13 (amazing but too much love stuff)

Best to Worst

CBB13 -
Classic series, IMO. Loved everything about it. I had severe withdrawal symptoms after this series ended.
Lots of great characters and moments. Jim, Luisa, Lee, Linda, and Liz.
Perfect mixture of fun and feuds.
This series also generated the hype for CBB, so it deserves all the credit.
9/10

CBB15 -
Phenomenal line up. Best line up out of the three, IMO. Some big names.
Fantastic first week, with many great story lines. From Ken's outrageous comments, Gropegate, and Bananagate. All of which made riveting viewing. Probably the best first week ever.
Fell flat after the second half, which was around after Alicia's eviction.
Became more centered on Hopkins Vs Hilton, and became all too much, and too conflict heavy. Similar to BB15's Helen Vs Ashleigh. Lack of tasks and fun this series too. Also, a few radar dodgers, making it far into the series, like Kav and Cami. Overall, a decent series, but CBB13 edges it for top.
8/10

CBB14 -
The summer CBB's are always udders, there's no denying that.
Not the best line-up, but it gave us Frenchy and Gary Busey, so kudos for that.
A few annoying and unlikeable housemates like James, Dee, George, and Ricci. All of which, outstayed their welcome. Especially ghastly James Jordan.
Some bad eviction results too. Frenchy and Leslie should've stayed much longer. George and Ricci should've have gone instead.
Eventful and entertaining first week, but fell flat afterwards.
I liked Lauren Goodger.
6/10

What was so special about cbb13 is that EVERY housemate contributed something to how great the series was imo. Every other year theres always a few pointless hm's who your like, why did they pick them? like kavana for cbb15, danielle marr for series 12 & most people from towie although Im liking lauren goodger now im rewatching it, but I really didn't at the time even though it was only 6 months ago which is weird.

I actually liked Lauren Goodger.
I had a soft spot for her. I loved her friendship with Gary and Audley, during her last few days in the house. It was sickening watching James trying to turn most of the house against her, during her last few days. And taunting her on Twitter, about how he outlasted her, despite her 1.3M Twitter followers.
I loved how she defended herself as well Gary, and told Ricci what not. In CBB13, Sam Faiers didn't even open her mouth when Ollie was being ridiculed and bashed by Linda and Luisa.

What's really nice is that she's still friends with Audley, outside the house.
I also loved how genuine and down to earth she was.
I thought she was unfairly judged, because of her sex tape, and tart image. Especially Luisa on BOTs, who was nasty towards her.

She should've made the final, IMO. Dee should've gone instead.

CBB13 is so great that it can beat some Ch4 Civilian series in quality imo.

CBB15 starts off great but dies for me once Alicia gets evicted.

And CBB14 I thought was just awful, although Gary, Frenchy, Leslie, and James was all big characters.

I actually liked Sam and Ollie.
They weren't the most entertaining characters, but they were nice. Plus, they were the big names of their consecutive reality shows.

Evander may have been the biggest name. But that does not equate to being a good housemate. Didn't he think they would go shopping in Debenhams or something?

Pretty much my thoughts.
Agree about CBB13. It even beats every CBB on Channel 4, except for CBB3 and CBB4, IMO.

Same can be said for CBB15, to some extent. Despite, its disastrous second half.
What annoys me is that good series like CBB13 and CBB15, average just over 3.0M, or 3.1M for CBB15, whilst crap series like CBB6 average higher.
I mean, of course it's a Channel 4 series, but still.

Fantastic that CBB13 and CBB15 got higher ratings than Ultimate Big Brother.
Also, CBB has done very well on Channel 5. In 2012, CBB9 averaged 2.6M. Two years later, in 2014, CBB13 averages 3.0M.
A 0.4M increase is fantastic. Hope they carry on producing great celebrity series. I'd love for the ratings to eventually hit 3.3M.

I am one of the few that actually liked Linda?
She was a brilliant housemate.

Only hardcore Jim fans seems to despise her.
I wasn't keen on Jim, though I did like him after she left. But I preferred Linda. Jim wasn't as nice as he made out, the public were fooled.

Jim was a decent contestant, but his past before the show was too bad even for me to not disreguard it.

Best celeb series I'm is the one with Denise, the evil twins and Sonya. The only cbb series I've managed to finish.

I agree. I think it was a good series, but certainly not one of my favourites. Also, by the end I didn't feel passionate enough to even watch the finale. With CBB14 and CBB15, even if they did dip after great starts, I still cared about the outcome at the end and remember feeling really tense during the finale. With CBB13 I just felt "Well, I hope Dappy or Luisa don't win", and that was it. I was only strongly supporting Liz, once she left a lot of my interest in the result waned.

And yeah, I hated the love triangle stuff that dominated the series. I just didn't care.

So yes, good series and I thought there were some great times of conflict and humour, but very overrated in my eyes, and certainly not my favourite CBB. 9, 14 and 15 all rank above it for me.

I like all three of them they've all provided some iconic moments such as Frank Carsons dressing room, Frenchy cutting up Leslie's underpants and Hilton vs Hopkins. My favourite though of the three is CBB15

CBB15 - 10/10

CBB13 - 8/10

CBB14 - 7/10

Imo, the whole "perez show" stuff was just annoying. I know some people loved it but it's just not really my thing.

Wow 10/10 for CBB15.
The only CBB, I would rate 10/10 is CBB4. That was perfect. Everything about it. The house, housemates, tasks, final, winner.

Not even BB6 - my favourite series is worthy of a 10/10.

15> 14 > 13 for me

I would rate 4,5 and 6 above 13 tbh.
