Default Had someone else got the final pass, would they have kept it in place all series?

I love Helen - but I do think the only reason there wasn't a random twist in the series and the final pass was abolished is because she was so argumentative and they didn't want to risk losing her. Do you think that the producers would have abolished the final pass or gotten rid of it in another twist if someone else had gotten the final pass?

I think they would have kept it in place if Pauline, Toya, Danielle, Ashleigh, Mark or Christopher had gotten it, but I think with everybody else they would have gotten rid of it halfway through because they weren't that entertaining and the producers love to throw twists around.

Your thoughts?

I would say yes but they took away Jale's killer nomination for a week when she was still kind of popular... so it would depend who got it.

In a way, I'm glad they didn't take her pass away. Because, what was the point?
Shouldn't twists cause a massive change in the house?

So if they did revoke it, then what was the point of giving it in the first place? Was it to create temporary drama?

I still have the same question over Week 3's Power Couple. What was the point of putting Toya up?, isn't the whole point of having the Power is to be safe?, or so I thought it was.

I wonder how Helen would've acted if she didn't have the pass?
I mean she was nice on the first night, but then everyone always is, but then after she got the pass, she began to become bitchy?
I wonder if she would've done that had she not had the pass.

I'm not so sure. She probably would've been the same.

Obviously they would have got rid of the pass if a bore got it. The producers change things to suit them, since Helen was the main cause of the drama (and the prods probably liked her) there was no need to change the pass to the final.

Its beyond me how anyone could 'like' that excuse for a human being

I think Helen would have acted the same regardless of whether she had the pass or not. She was just that kind of person.
I actually admire them for letting her actually make it all the way to the final. I'm firmly in the Helen shouldn't have won group but considering all the hell they got for letting her keep it, including from Emma I'm glad they didn't take it off her. As somebody else has said, what would have been the point in giving it to her.
Having said that, I still think it was stupid to give it to her on day 2.
