Reported on BBC1London
It even showed a Punk in the Midlands get away from Police , once he chucked his helmet off. Its simple because if the Police Chase them and the Criminal on the bike crashes - they Die , most times This is terrible I just hope their car CCTV on the car Zooms in on the Punks face Last edited by arista; 27-05-2015 at 05:40 PM. |

This is a tough one, IMO the police shouldn't be chasing ANYONE at high speed unless the person is violent and poses a clear danger to others. High speed chases just put other road users and pedestrians at risk, and it's usually for stupid and petty reasons.

High speed chsases are useless. On programs like; 'Traffic Cops UK' they chase knobs doing over 100 mph for miles through city streets, back roads and motorways and often 5 or 6 vehicles plus the helicopter is involved - not to mention 20 or so backroom cop employees - involving risk to property and innocent lives, only for the criminal to be caught then let off with a suspended sentence, small fine or even probation. Around £50,000 cost to the tax-payer and all that risk for this? Why bother.
