No I'm like 99% sure it's just lumos. Maybe the maxima bit was added in the films which I also think are pretty **** for the most part.

Ah, you're right. I just checked wiki and the films distinguish between Lumos, Lumos Solem and Lumos Maxima for different strengths of light. Maxima being a blinding light. But they don't appear in the books.

I seriously didn't like the films. Some of the casting was brilliant but they just missed so much out. I suppose they can't really do everything but the series was a bit meh for me. I'll probably see this at some point or other though.
