Default Gotta say it was a pretty poor bunch of housemates.

Now I love big brother but by the end of this season I just wanted it to end. The selection of housemates for this season was for me just poor. For me there was no real winner.

I hope the next celeb BB does better.

Agreed but I can't see it changing for the better anytime soon. More reality people from shows like towie etc in the house, crap twists and so on. I'm sure the channel 5 producers have been high fiving each other but in my opinion it could and should be a lot better than what it is.

It was an odd series, a house of either dull or dis-likable HMs but yet still a watchable series compared to the last debarcle that was US vs UK.

The only good ones left very early and it was just a contest of who you disliked least after that

Once David Guest left, that was it for me. There was no one left who I liked, so therefore I didn't care who won.

Tiffany, Jonathan, Angie, David, Stephanie, Jeremy, Gemma, Megan and John (over half) all contributed imo. Its a shame that many of them left early, and we were stuck with the likes of Daniela, Darren and Scotty in the final

I think it was a good mix initially, it was a pity Jonathan left then both Angie and David.

Had David not been ill maybe he would have been able to curb the excesses of the boring showmance and Angie when she flared up was TV gold for me.
What happened once they were gone was the series descending again into a showmance and 2 people under a duvet at the end of most highlights.

That is what brought the series down, nothing else for me.

A better boot order would have done this cast justice, but up to a good two/two and a half weeks in this series was fantastic

Yeah I agree with that. Gutted when he went, no real winners for me afterwards - just thought Tiffany was the best of a mediocre bunch

I disagree ...I think it was one of the best CBB ever....I thought it was gonna go flat when we lost the Yanks....but I was wrong....in fact, their demise seemed to ignite a spark in the remaining house mates that just kept getting better and better with every day.
With the exception of the first place position, which had more to do with fan base power than actual in house performance, it was the first show in years where you could not predict the positions of the top 5.....a great show.

There have been less "Filler" HMs than normal this series which is quite impressive.Only a few of them outright bored me.

I haaaate when people moan about Big Brother on CH5.

I never watched it on Channel 4 because it was boring.

Since its moved to CH5 it's become a lot trashier - a lot more like American reality TV but personally I prefer it!

Also, the line up is in my opinion, a lot better?

So many people saying this. Why? What did he do on the series do deserve that accolade? I agree he had potential, but we don't know if he would have delivered or not. He told a couple of amusing stories and then slept most his appearance away because he had pneumonia.

I hated Gemma, but I will admit she brought 100x more to CBB than David Guest did.

I really enjoyed it and for the first time I thought the showmance was actually interesting because it didn't just involve Steph & Jeremy, nearly everyone had something to say about it and to top that it was draining on most of the house..
