The " I"

Can't say I ever read them but it's a shame for print media as a whole/the little rationality left in the UK press

P.s. Kelvin Mackenzie's a dick of the highest order

Quite sad, one of the best of a bad bunch, here's hoping the same fate doesn't happen with the telegraph

Gutted about this, bought it most days. Not as left wing as the Guardian, not as right wing as the Telegraph, and not as establishment as the Times. Also has always been excellent on world news and has some of the best columnists for that. Just shows how much the printed press has demised and how hard it is to sustain now, I expect the Guardian and the FT will follow soon.

Trouble is the Indy say they'll continue digitally but I've never liked their website, just consists mainly of lefty clickbait and nothing like the printed paper. Be interested to see what the i is like after this considering its always just consisted of shortened Independent articles basically.

If I was going to buy any tabloid it would be the Independent but I only bought it if I was travelling by train. Its still available in digital format so I'll still be reading it.

I rarely buy a newspaper, I liked the Independent however but being honest I wouldn't miss the press in the UK now anyway.
All just about with their own agendas rather than being about actually bringing and accurately reporting the 'real news' to people.

One of the only non-biased newspapers going, that's sad to see.
