Default Teen Wolf

I think hardly anyone on here watches this but I just last night got caught up after falling behind on a whole season and I'd like somewhere to offload my thoughts.

I love the wide range of supernatural mythology and lore the show draws from and each season having a mystery element is a big bonus.

I've been enjoying this series but it's felt like it's dragged a bit. I wish they did what they did with Season 3 and have two different arcs instead of one long one.

Yeah I definitely see what you mean. I love the Doctors so I'm enjoying having them around for an extended arc but Theo's involvement and the chimeras themselves haven't interested me half as much. And to be honest if I never see a Theo smirk ever again I'll be happy.

Although I do think they've done quite well in still making them feel like two halves rather than one over-drawn story, with 5A focusing on the chimera experiments and 5B focusing primarily on the Beast mystery.

By the way, I found an older Teen Wolf thread (from when the show was first announced) and you seemed convinced you were going to hate it so I'm glad you've ended up enjoying it!

I've been enjoying this season too but the Eichen House story is dragging, I think. I haven't seen last week's yet.

I'm enjoying seeing some minor characters like Braeden and Hayden have an impact though

It's been confirmed that Teen Wolf is ending after season 6. For the best I reckon, it hasn't been great for a couple of seasons now imo. Season 5 had real potential with the Doctors but that ended up fizzling out too. The last season I fully enjoyed was season 3 (which I also think was the best).

I just hope the final season can recapture what I used to love about the show.

Season 6 trailer

It's been confirmed as starting in November. I wasn't expecting it until maybe January.

I'm intrigued by this Wild Hunt story (the mythology surrounding the Wild Hunt is creepy and interesting), but I was excited about the Dread Doctors and they amounted to nothing much in the end so I hope this fulfils more of its potential.

I hope the show has a satisfying send-off, as much as I wasn't crazy about the last two seasons the first 3 were brilliant and as I've said, I hope it recaptures that for the end.
