I am totally shocked - I thought Hilary was a valuable asset to Labour who needed promotion not demotion.

Apparently there have been moves for the shadow cabinet to resign on mass. This was Corbyn's reaction

He worked himself to the ground....surely that should have been he was working underground, he was certainly well hidden.
Now here's a thought, get Hillary Benn in as leader,, might give them a head start n the next election.

I think Hilary Ben is one of he most promising labour politicians around at the moment. I don't agree with him on everything but at least he has a voice, something Corbin seems to lack. If they had chosen someone like Hilary as party leader maybe labour would have a chance to engage voters again.

It's crazy - he is doing himself nor the party any favours.

I now have to move away from Corbyn and admit those who said all would go wrong were right.

This is really bad news and at a time when Labour needs strong leadership and example, sorry we have had neither as to this EU referendum or what he has just done now.

I hope Hilary Benn actually mounts a challenge to him anyway,if he will not resign,I have respect for Hilary Benn,I have now very little left for jeremy Corbyn.

Half the shadow cabinet will resign tomorrow. Labour is eating itself. Is anyone surprised?

Corbyn is a liability... Ben is one of the best politicians in the Commons, and I say that not as a Labour supporter.

I wonder if all those people would vote him in again? We'll see, won't we. Personally I think he's shown himself to be the worst leader Labour could possibly have chosen, although he has been a valuable asset for the Tories.

When Jeremy Clarkson was sacked, Chris Evens stated categorically on his radio show that he would not be taking over as host. No way... never going to happen... I suggest that's what might happen here.

Arista, Noone would laugh louder than me if Corbyn managed to survive, but I think the UK needs a strong opposition leadership, and Corbyn just doesn't cut it. Strength in opposition is even more important now since exiting the EU
