POW! BLAM!

I work in a school, so some might say because of the show's reputation I'd have to think very carefully before going in BBUK, and generally make sure I wouldn't do anything I don't mind ending up on my google search. But in this year's BBUSA, there seem to be three teachers, so is it seen as being less trashy over there?

I also work in a school and I have the exact same feelings as you. BB isn't really big in the US, it just has more of a cult following. However, if you go on the show you pretty much need to erase your entire online existence because the crazy superfans will go through your Twitter and Instagram and try to find bad ****. Just this season we had Corey labeled as homophobic bc of tweets from years ago, Paulie's dick pics getting sent to his mother and father, Bronte making racial comments, and Michelle asking the live feeders to get Bridgette fired from her job.
The live feeds also make it so that you have to always be careful of what you say and not slip with any bad comments. Literally half of the BB15 cast said numerous racial slurs, and there was enough uproar on Twitter that the show eventually had to address them and multiple HGs lost their jobs. I think the reason why Tiffany and Zakiyah will be fine is because of the types of schools they work on. Zakiyah teaches preschool and I believe Tiffany teaches in a private school. Things would be a lot more dicey if a HG worked for a public school, because you're representing an entire community and you're a public representative. Private schools operate differently due to funding, and early childhood schooling isn't typically linked to a public school system.

From the 6 weeks I was in Canada during BB13, I heard countless conversations in restuarants about it. (Mostly from older men as well), the only time I've ever heard a conversation about bbuk was with the whole Perez and Katie stuff)

The UK version has gradually lost it's audience over the years, it used to be big, it did.
