I doubt they want the upheaval of moving HQ and it will put people out of work if it happens so I don't really understand your attitude Kirk?

I do not want ANYONE to move from the UK Cherie because of Brexit - there really is no need - but I am not as forgiving and accepting of BLACKMAIL and THREAT as some people I suppose. There is a long way to go before we actually do Brexit, and the status quo remains the same until then, so all this talk of 'quitting' is baloney.

These companies grew and their owners got EXTREMELY wealthy on the backs of BRITISH workers, so I have nothing but contempt for them now wanting to desert their employees and go where they can exploit cheap labour in the form of lowly paid workers - because, THAT FACT is THE REAL REASON why some of these will move - if they do, indeed, move.

Watch what happens once the UK recovers and prospers.

As no one knows what the deal will be they have to plan ahead to move if necessary, Easy Jet has been around for years so they could have moved HQ to another part of the EU at any time if all they wanted was cheap labour, much and all as you hated the EU you must admit there were benefits for member countries, I don't know anything about the arrangements Easy Jet have with EU airports but as they make up the main bulk of their destinations I guess there is an advantage to them to remain inside the EU

So as the UK sees more companies pull out - likely helped along by the EU who you have said yourself offer bribes and incentives and now want to see the UK fail more than ever - with jib losses and GDP drops...

You're going to be angry at and blame the private companies? When you've just helped and called along to the ushering in of unbridled hard-right Tory capitalism as far as the eye can see? You'd be as well screaming into the sky Kirk... Private enterprise does not "care" about its workers beyond what promotes productivity. It does not care about its customers beyond what promotes repeat custom. It follows the Ł€$, and it's now going to comprise the entire UK landscape... This dream of a good / fair independent UK is pie in the sky. Independent we will be. Independent little rusty cogs in a lonely, broken machine.

I live in the same country T.S. and have done since times were REALLY hard for the lower working class - Jenny Juniper and Smudgie might know what i'm talking about - but I have never had your pessimistic attitude, so I guess we both react to the same given stimulus differently.

There's an obvious explanation for this Kirk. You have direct experience of "things looking up" and people's lives across the board improving in your lifetime. In mine, I have only seen things get worse, and I see very little evidence of that trend reversing.

Yeah to be fair... I don't think they seal their planes properly... I get crippling pressure headaches on descent on easyjet flights. Was on one back from France about 10 years ago and my eardrum perforated . And on the way to Portugal 2 years ago, I swear I thought I was having a stroke.

I doubt very much most people would boycott them Arista, their position is understandable in the current uncertainty
