Some examples why I like him and respect him as person
The way he kept his cool with Charlie, very few would The way he supported Andy when the house was against him The way he jumped in to get Jayne out of the water The way he helped Jayne through her melt down The way he got rid of Lateysha instead of taking the easy option of evicting Jayne instead The way he's always made allowances for the younger ones having fun without judging them The way he rounded everyone up and out of danger when the house flooded The way he was the only one who took one for the team when his dog came to see him The way he's not derogatory to women and evicted Ryan who was The way he's confident about his sexuality around the gay guys. |

I like that he's just a normal guy, but he's also playing the game. Why is being a game player a bad thing? Is this not a game show? Also he's quite attractive.

I think he has had a tough ride in that house.
He had to put up with Charlie who kept on at him when a lesser man would have completely lost his cool. He had the balls to evict two of that stupid clique in Lateysha & Ryan. He has had to put up with others bitching about him. I just think his moods are the result of a mature man having to put up with very immature people every day. |

I like that he is not currying favour with the public, also the way he handled Charlie was commendable,I don't know if I could have been that patient, also his massive love for his dog says more to me than words could ever say,I like how he dresses and looks after himself,I like his composure,he is erudite,Phlegmatic and yes of course pressing that button was a great move ,he has not been afraid to be by himself ,he has heard people talking **** about him and still holds out the hand of friendship, for me he is not pretending to be something he isn't,so I like him for many reasons.

No real reason tbh, I just think hes a nice normal down to earth bloke who doesn't feel the need to flounce around and scream for the cameras...even if not doing so makes him look a miserable loner

Agree with everything you say. Jason has certainly had the toughest time in there....with Charlie and the aggressive backlash from his decisions. He has had all negativity chucked his way regarding who said this and who said that....much of it was targeted at him...which is why he wanted to leave because he couldn't take any more. He deserves it more than anyone....what has Hughie and Jayne done?...how were they ever tested?....fake tantrums for airtime and tasks to up their profile. Jason's just been a normal guy...moods and all. He is my winner. |

Sorry to be lazy but all of the above basically.... oh and also the way he doesn't pretend to be ok about the boos, he looked genuinely gutted. We love you Jason!

Absolutely love Jason - I know a lot of men just like him. He's salt of the Earth - yes he is playing the game but so what? They ALL are - even precious Evelyn after Laura said it (all she did was copy Laura...) has said "its a game show"
The reason you can tell he is playing is because it shows in his eyes - he has genuine eyes. He is not a snake. Jackson is playing the game now - he is trying to make out "Im a poor lad this is an amazing dream for me and my son" which is hollow. Jason is also a legend for being a totally different HM from the norm and part of the reason this series has been the best ever from C5 - he had character - he didnt need to bully people to be interesting - he just is because he has had life experience and he knows how embarrassing it is to start slinging insults across the room (Helen Wood - most awful series ever) He has had a really difficult time in the house and has never been unduly horrible to anyone - quite the opposite. For me its between him and Hughie to win. p.s Hughie falling in the pool was the highlight of the series for me - I ve loved his rants and his accent and his expressions and manners - he is straight up and honest in his opinions and always has been from the start - he doesn't back stab, he doesn't game play. Hughie and Jason both deserve to win. Last edited by sungrass; 23-07-2016 at 02:42 PM. |

He's had the toughest time in their of anybody and kept his cool throughout he also destroyed the snide bed room crew who clearly thought it was their right to sail through to the final.

hes been through the most emotionally, hes had the most s**t thrown at him. a lesser man would have exploded or left. and despite that hes the one all the rest could rely on. and I agree with all your reasons above.

Its not just that hes nice because it can be argued that there have been quite few nice housmates but he doesnt feel the need to play up to a certain image or put on a fake face (coughjacksoncough). Yes he can be moody but he can also be funny which hes been quite a few times this series. He seems comfortable being himself and doesnt feel the need to assert himself over people and doesnt just follow the rest of the house.
And this is the first time my favourite on night 1 is still my favourite near the end. I also like the fact he is HONEST-when he booted lateysha he didnt give a bs excuse he literally said she was the biggest threat and he took her out. And the other delusional housemates went crazy over this-shows they are either idiots or are playing a game themselves. Last edited by Lstan; 23-07-2016 at 05:27 PM. |

Remembering Kerry
|
I think there is a lot more to him, he does try to stay reasoned and it takes a lot to get him to open up.
He tries to get on with everyone and did so even when Charlie was making his time unbearable after she came in. He was not having any of putting her down, no matter what had happened between them but she was hell bent on trying to make him look really bad. That she was brought in by BB likely made him put his guard up even more, so has possibly robbed us of learning much more about his fears, hopes and life in the past. He may be more introvert and not showy, he does however still do everything and is interested in the others too. He probably has a lot of really interesting aspects of his life, we will not get to hear about but there is no harm in the guy at all in my view. He has also clearly become very suspicious and wary of what BB may spring on him next, hence his hesitation to do what BB asked him in the highlights yesterday. Those are some of the reasons I like him. Last edited by joeysteele; 23-07-2016 at 05:38 PM. |
