Default Does anyone think we were supposed to "route" for the Main House and hate the Others?

I think the whole point of the series was that we were supposed to dislike the Others Hms and adore the Main House Hms. The Others were supposed to be "intruders", they were supposed to be "villains". They were given tasks to try and break friendships up etc...

That's quite interesting that 2 of the 6 others are still in there, and 4 of the the 12 mains are in there, both one-third of what they were at the start. I have a feeling that when Emma and Rylan reveal their predictions on BOTS latter about who they thought would win on launch night, not one Other would have crossed their minds.

It's odd how that works out, I am pretty sure we were supposed to be Team Main, so in that respect, i think Emma and Rylan expected no Others to be in the house in the final at the start?

The Others twist was wasted, it was possibly the best twist they've ever done and it could of carried on throughout the entire series since there was a way to be evicted through the other house.

If the series was longer they could of had late comer housemates as others on like week 4 as a way to fill the other house up, the both houses could of battled for power every week and the one house that wins will be immune and the the house that looses would not and they would have to nominate.

I think ending it early was the only way forward.

Marco and Victoria/Emma saw the Other house in Week 1, the rest of the mains HEARD the other house numerous times in Week 2. They couldn't have kept it a secret any longer.

Initially I'm sure that was the plan but in the beginning the others were more entertaining and it's great that their position became equal as soon as they entered the main house....the others were all controversial each and every one of them and having two in the final proves that the viewers can't always be manipulated by BB and that's brilliant.

I think so too. Apparently on launch night the producers told the crowd who couldn't hear the Others' VTs that they only needed to know that the Others were 'haters' or something like that.

It's ironic that Hughie and Jayne have become popular housemates and Charlie, Ryan and Natalie have strong followings on the Internet forums whereas I don't think any of the original housemates have as strong followings besides Lateysha and Jason.

Definitely. We were meant to be supportive of the main house and see "the others" as intruders.

The truth was they were all more entertaining.

The twist could've been way better if the Others didn't have to be a secret. We've known since January that there was going to be an extension built, so any of the housemates that pay any bit of notice to the show would know there's going to be another house.

Having them both know about each other, and battling for power each week would've been an amazing twist, possibly ending in the two houses coming together at the last week or two
