The Bare Necessities and I Wan'na Be Like You from Jungle Book, because I had an album of Disney songs that I played all the time.

Mine are gonna be 80s and early 90s, seeing as that's when I was a child.
I have a memory of during the school holidays on a hot summers morning and waking up to my sister blasting this one out. Some others that remind me of childhood, there's many, but I'll select a few. Last edited by Alf; 07-09-2017 at 10:29 PM. |

Summer of 1999, I was 9 years old and it was absolutely amazing. Boiling hot, every kid in the area playing together every single day from morning 'til night, everybody was hooked on the WWF (Austin vs. McMahon feud), no phones, no computers, no hassle whatsoever just total innocence, freedom and fun. Never forget those days, the absolute best ever.
This song was everywhere and totally defined the Summer. Just a fun, lighthearted tune that gets me all nostalgic and fuzzy inside. Last edited by LaLaLand; 25-04-2018 at 09:32 PM. |

Being from Hull, The Housemartins were a huge part of my childhood music.
London 0 Hull 4 was one of the great albums of the 80s and still great to listen to today, aged well. Paul Heaton would later go on to form The Beautiful South and Norman Cook would go on to become Fat boy Slim. |
