Default Australia PM Anthony Albanese General Election 3/May/25 : Stays in Power

[The first polls have closed in Australia where
some 18 million people are voting to
decide the next prime minister

Young voters are playing a crucial role
in the race between PM Anthony Albanese
of the Australian Labor Party
who is seeking a second term,
and opposition leader Peter Dutton
of the Liberal-National coalition
Cost of living, crumbling public healthcare
and unaffordable housing are top
of the agenda, and an unpredictable
Trump presidency looms over all of it
Also on the ballot are a range of
independents and candidates from
the left-wing Greens,
who could become kingmakers
in case of a hung parliament]

They appear to be ready for any outcome...........................

TRUMPISM REJECTED IN AUSTRALIA

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been re-elected as his Labor Party surged to victory and is projected to form a majority government. In a historic first, opposition leader Peter Dutton—often likened to Donald Trump—lost his own seat of Dickson.

Someone who has been "likened to Trump" is not elected and this means Trumpism is rejected in Australia? LMAO.... Talk about a tenuous link.

We should be more like Australia when it comes to accepting illegals. Or maybe we should be more like Japan who take no refugees at all, legal or otherwise.
