Alexandra to Duet with Girls Aloud?

Alexandra Burke has announced plans to perform with X Factor mentor Cheryl Cole's group Girls Aloud.

The 20-year-old described winning the ITV1 talent contest and a £1 million record contract last night as "the best feeling ever", revealing that she was sure runners-up JLS would take the crown.

She said: "I am in disbelief. I keep saying to my friends and family, 'This isn't real'. I cannot believe it's happened, but I am so happy. This is the best feeling ever."

Burke will now appear on the Top Of The Pops Christmas Special alongside acts including Girls Aloud and Take That. She added: "I want to do a duet with Girls Aloud. That will happen, I guarantee it."

A performance of Burke's debut single 'Hallelujah' during last night's final was described as "seriously incredible" by Simon Cowell.

Erm.. I like that that, GA and my fave food is italian.. Oh and i like detroit techno, mainly the late 80s and early 90s stuff... But hey alex was fantastic lastnight! Class.

She said shes taking the next year to release her album so maybe it isn't out in March afterall

Just downloaded her song as well, sounds loads better not live, and it sounded amazing live so ...

Yeah, it would be a travesty if she released a half-hearted album in March. Hopefully Simon will do what he did with Leona and wait until September time until releasing any new material.
