I've enjoyed this series more than I have the last few XFs.

I honestly cant watch this show, doesn't entertain me at all. I can barely even watch the Auditions, the only bit that interests me is the spinny chairs...

the live shows are in dire need of

a) the judges offering criticism
b) the performances lasting longer than a minute and a half
c) fewer "what we did this week!" stories / "let's check what you've been tweeting!" / general arsing around
d) louis walsh

I've never watched it properly, only ever seen clips on YouTube. The show has yet to produce a star which I think is its main problem, there's no investment in the franchise from the viewing public, it's lazy weekend viewing and if it disappeared no one would care.

I think this series has been the best on yet. With emma rather than the sickly sweet Holly and Marvin is proving to be a fantastic presenter better than whoever else it was. Kylie better than the awful Jessie j too. The battle rounds were better this year too and I liked how 4 went last night and its a straight final public vote next week. A huge difference to the last 2 series.

Meh, I find it refreshing that they're not like the X Factor judges and "judge drama" hasn't taken over the show like on X Factor
