and so they should be thrilled.. they've left the housemates to get on with it and as a result we've been left with the best series in years. Good on them.

What's really funny is if C5 were to read many of the messages here and kick out the disruptive HM's, most notably Perez & Katie, then ratings would be approaching zero and the same people would be on here complaining that this is the most boring CBB ever.

A round of applause for Perez and the housemates obsessed with him for making people tune into this series

I'll piss myself if he's evicted as many are hoping for and the ratings decrease

Perez going would effect nothing, there's loads of big characters to keep the show going

Great Ratings just shows that no forced drama by showing housemates DR clips of other housemates and over tacky editing doesn't work

Hope the ratings success continues in the summer

But all the other 'big characters' get along and wouldn't nearly be as 'big' as they are now without Perez. Nadia and Alicia don't seem to get along with the others but they rarely ever say it to their face tbh.

Perez, Katie H, Michelle, Nadia, Alicia and Cami are all responsible for these current ratings IMO (plus Katie P obviously, but for different reasons) and without them it would be dire like BB4 or something

Perez makes them all "big characters" pretty much. We going to act like Katie Hopkins has zero purpose without him. Even the launch night, which was made completely for her wasn't enough for her to make a true impact.

Phenomenal news.
I'm pleased it's doing so well. I'm hooked this year, and have loved it from start to finish.
I hope they put just as much effort on the summer BB, as they do CBB.
I think if they do, they could nudge up Civilian Big Brother to 2M. BB14 nearly managed to.

Does anyone have the figures from last few years just to compare?

They need to keep Perez or the ratings will drop. Who wants to watch a happy House?
