Siavash. Cheat or Liar?

Siavash has fallen for Noirin's charms and over the past few days you would have to be blind and deaf not to feel uncomfortable with Siavash.

Either he lied about having a girlfriend and is free to pursue Noirin or he has a girlfriend and is causing her extreme embarrassment.

Which is it?
