So i downloaded gimp 2 and tried doing the copy and paste thing as said earlier in the thread but no matter where i click the thing i want to paste just goes into the middle of the image and i cant move it.help please?

Sorry, I have no Idea what gimp 2 is but you can try typing the problem in to google, that's usually how I solve most of my software issues. :thumbs: Or try the graphics sub-forum...

A good starting place for learning your way around the Gimp:

You should be able to move the pasted layer around by clicking on the move button (the one with 4 arrows on it).
