I have female friends and at times some of the things we do you would think we were shagging or at least flirting but there’s a line between friendship and an intimate relationship. After all of that Marcus was told over and over again that she had no interest in him in that way but he dismissed he statement's and pursued none the less. All that led to Marcus being in the situation his in now.

not sure how some fail to see this,but once noirin had told marcus on several occasions that she only saw him as a friend,and to stop complimenting her,she is then no longer the scape goat for this "leading him on" theory..
