The Spice Girls was a British pop girl group formed in 1994. They consisted of Victoria Beckham (formerly Adams), Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell. They are the best-selling girl group of all time.
They were signed to Virgin Records and released their debut single, "Wannabe", in 1996. The song hit number one in 31 countries and helped establish the group as a "global phenomenon". Credited for being the pioneers and pave the way for the commercial breakthrough of teen pop in the decade of the 1990s. Their first album, Spice, sold more than 23 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album by a female group in music history. They have sold more than 60 million records worldwide with only four albums and twelve singles, the demand for their first two albums was unprecedented, making them the most successful British band since the Beatles, and compared with the Beatlemania. Measures of their success include international record sales, a 2007/2008 reunion tour, merchandising, record breaking achievements, iconic symbolism such as the Union Jack dress, "Girl Power", a movie called Spice World and their nicknames.
Under the guidance of their long time mentor and manager Simon Fuller, the group embraced merchandising and became a regular feature of the British press. Each member of the group was given an alias by Top of the Pops Magazine in 1996, which were adopted by the group and media alike. According to biographer David Sinclair, "Spooky, Baby, Ginger, Posh and Sporty were the most widely recognized group of individuals since John, Paul, George and Ringo."
In May 1998, Geri Halliwell left the group in the middle of numerous rumours. The four remaining members released the third album, but went their separate ways in late 2000 to focus on their solo careers. On 28 June 2007 all five re-formed before the launch of their Reunion Tour in December, alongside the release of their Greatest Hits album. In December, a new official documentary Giving You Everything aired on various television networks around the globe. In February 2008, the Spice Girls announced that they were ending their tour prematurely in Toronto on 26 February 2008.

Victoria Beckham’s new ad campaign on swings
http://cm1.theinsider.com/media/0/516/6/victoria-beckhams-new-ad-campaign-on-swings.0.0.0x0.400x547.jpeg
Victoria Beckham shot the new ad campaign for her A/W 2009-2010 dress collection on the street in London’s Notting Hill area on July 23rd, last week.
She was dressed in her own designed £2,095 ( $3,462) grey carmontelle cashmere-blend dress, £480 ($793) Christian Louboutin Bianca platform pumps and was very busy by directing the shooting.
The idea of the ad is very interesting - London street, and swings attached to the house.
The models was swaying on the swing in stylish outfits and making happy faces.
Posh, in spite of the pleasure one would ordinarily expect to get from riding a swing, kept her usual serious face and didn’t smile.
Among the designs being modelled was a strapless purple satin gown and a £1,190 ($1,966) ornamented wool jersey dress.
The new autumn/winter 2009-2010 season is the second range by Victoria Beckham, who launched her first fashion collection last year.
Her capsule dress line features figure-hugging and formal dresses which are matched to fit and flatter the woman’s figure.
Posh said her own label had been a long-time coming.
In an interview at the time, she told:
Do I draw? No. Then again, nor do lots of designers. But I put it all on myself and walk around in it, and I know what feels comfortable. I know how a dress should sit.
‘I’ve worn so many in the past and when I see the photographs I think, crikey, my boobs are up round my neck again because the corsets are too short and not cut high enough.’
Victoria’s dress collection is available for sale in Britain at Harrods, Selfridges and Net-A-Porter.com.

Emma Bunton: "Beau Is My Number One Priority"
http://celebritybabyscoop.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/main_pic/pictures/emma_bunton.jpg
Baby Spice Emma Bunton shows off her new hair, new attitude and new path in the September issue of SHE magazine. The 33-year-old British pop star talks about her 2-year-old son Beau, her thoughts on marriage and the fear she once had of never having children.
On what she wants for Beau: "I want for Beau what my parents provided for me although they split up when I was 11. I still felt totally secure in their affection. My partner Jade, Beau and I all sit down to eat together as a family. We spend a lot of time together - in fact we do everything together, which is what I remember from my own childhood. But every so often it's nice to step outside of my 'mum' role. I love doing my radio show with Heart FM every Friday and Saturday, but, equally, I love going home to Beau and Jade afterwards. I genuinely feel that I get the best of both worlds."
On her fear of never having children after being diagnosed with endometriosis at 25: "Being told that my chances of having children were only 50/50 was almost more than I could bear. For a while I was a complete wreck; I just couldn't imagine a life without children. But my mum's belief, right from the start, was that I would have children, it would happen - and so I adopted that attitude too."
On if her pregnancy with Beau was a surprise: "To be honest, after my diagnosis I just tried not to think about it too much. Working hard on Strictly Come Dancing meant that I was so focused on my performance that it distracted me from any concerns about having children. When I discovered that I was pregnant, I cried and cried with joy. It was something I wanted so badly."
On marrying her long-term partner Jade Jones: "Marriage is something we talked about years ago but, to be honest, it's not something we've ever felt we've really needed."
On juggling career and family life: "I've decided that Beau is my number one priority, so I never struggle with guilt that I should be somewhere else when I'm with him, or vice versa. When work opportunities come along that don't fit in with what I've chosen, I turn them down. I'm doing the radio show twice a week, and I miss Beau like crazy, but I get a real fire in my belly from doing it. I'm as ambitious as ever, but it's all about timing. And, right now, I'm a mummy."
On wanting more children: "I definitely want more children, but not right now. I'm enjoying watching Beau grow up so much that I want to focus on what we have together - his little everyday milestones. And anyway, I'm only just starting to feel that I'm getting my body back."

Victoria Beckham's Porsche breaks down - pics

You might think someone with as many flash motors as Victoria Beckham could pick one that was able to make it to the shops without conking out.
So you can probably forgive moneybags Posh for looking more than a little cheesed off when her slinky white Porsche 911 spluttered to a halt in Culver City, Los Angeles.
With her face a picture of misery, Victoria was forced to get on the blower for a tow-truck and continue the shopping trip in her bodyguard's far less stylish motor. Poor lamb.

Spice Girl Mel C to take to West End stage
Ex Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm is set to take to the stage in London's illustrious West End theatre district in a leading role in tragic musical Blood Brothers.
The singer, who recently gave birth to her first child earlier this year, will step into the role of Mrs Johnstone. The announcement of her starring role has already resulted in a jump in bookings for the show, which begins its season on the stage at the end of October.
The Merseyside-born star will replace former contestant from The X Factor, Staffordshire singer Niki Evans and play at the Phoenix Theatre in London's famous West End.
Chisholm will take on the role following its portrayal by other actresses such as Barbara Dickson, Carole King and Kiki Dee, and is the first member of the 90s pop sensation the Spice Girls to step onto a West End stage. Former bandmate Melanie Brown, however, has appeared on stage in Broadway - New York's eminent theatre street - in a production of Rent.
Blood Brothers is one of the longest running productions in the history of musical theatre and has been present in the south east England city's West End district for over two decades. Both the book and musical version were written by Willy Russell, who was born in Liverpool and also penned such works as Educating Rita and Shirley Valentine.
Melanie Chisholm will debut in Blood Brothers on Monday October 26 at London's Phoenix Theatre.

Geri Hints At Another Spice Girls Reunion
Geri Halliwell has hinted there may be another Spice Girls reunion after four of the five members met up in London last week.
In a TV appearance Ginger Spice was cryptic about the ladies’ plans. She told This Morning:
“Right - now, I'll be honest: We are gathering information about a possibility, but I don't like to... when you are evolving a plan, you don't want to share it with the world.”
Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Emma met up in London last week- with only Victoria Beckham missing from the band’s line up.
Halliwell explained: “We are friends first and foremost. Obviously a career and music evolved through that friendship I think. Whatever happens afterwards is a bonus. We always talk about creative plans.”
Intriguingly after the hook up Mel B hit Twitter to say: “Spice girls, stadiums?????????? Had dinner with the amazing melc emma and geri I love them so much.”
In 2007 The Spice Girls reunited for a series of massive money spinning live shows, a greatest hits album and a one off single.

Mel B: It's great to be back in Britain after six years in Los Angeles
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/entertainment/showbiz-news/celebrity-interviews/2009/09/22/mel-b-it-s-great-to-be-back-in-britain-after-six-years-in-los-angeles-86908-21691731/
AS a singer with the Spice Girls, Mel B was never shy of showing off her sexy figure in a series of outlandish stage outfits.
But she admits she never thought she'd be modelling lingerie in her 30s, after giving birth to two children.
Her latest and final shoot for Ultimo proves though, that she's in the best shape of her life.
The pictures, taken in Las Vegas, coincided with her role as a burlesque dancer in the cabaret Peepshow. But her next jobs have been less glamour, more grit, as she returned to the UK to try TV work.
Last week, she joined the panel of ITV's Loose Women.
She's also just finished filming a reality TV show for the same channel which shows her going back to her roots in Leeds to try living on the poverty line.
"I've been so busy, but it's been great being back in the UK," said Mel, 34.
"I've been presenting Loose Women and I was up in Leeds doing my seven days on the bread line. It's been very busy, to say the least."
Her two-year contract with lingerie brand Ultimo comes to an end early next year. This month's campaign shoot, where she modelled the spring/ summer 2010 collection, will be her last for the Scots company, and Mel's loved every minute.
"It's always good fun, the underwear is great and I had a good day," she said. "It's been amazing doing this job. I never thought I'd be modelling underwear at 34 and with two kids, so it's definitely been eye-opening and an honour to have been asked."
The Spice Girl with the loudest voice and the biggest laugh, is these days more sophisticated and sexy than Scary Spice.
Originally from Leeds, Mel moved to London and found fame with the girl group, who had huge success all around the world.
For the past six years, she's been living in Los Angeles and has slipped easily into the healthy Californian lifestyle, as well as taking on a more glossy and glamorous appearance.
"I work out for an hour, every other day, so yes I work at my body," she said. "I don't just wake up and look like this. I eat healthily too.
"I've been in Vegas working for the last six months but I've made working out part of my lifestyle and I really enjoy it."
Her husband of two years, Hollywood film producer Stephen Belafonte, joined her in the UK last week while her two children - Phoenix Chi, aged 10, by first husband Jimmy Gulzar and Angel, aged two, whose father is actor Eddie Murphy - stayed at home in LA.
She's loving married life, but made time for her old friends and held a special dinner to catch up with fellow Spice Girls Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
Victoria Beckham, who now also lives in LA, was unable to make it. She and Mel B haven't seen much of each other in the States, but Mel rang her up so she could join in with the reunion.
"Everything is lovely, married life is great," said Mel. "I had dinner with the girls while I was back. We're best friends. We've known each other for 15 years so it was nice to for us all to be together again.
"Because I've been in Vegas for the last six months,Victoria and I keep on missing each other. But we got her on the phone so she didn't feel left out. It was lovely."
Now all five of the "Girls" are mums, but Mel says it's just like the old days when they get back together.
"Us girls like to have fun. Whether you can call that rowdy, I don't know, but we do always have fun.
"I work hard and I enjoy myself," she added.
She flew back to the States at the weekend and has more work ahead of her, this time a return to her first love - music. A new solo album is rumoured to be in the pipeline for next year.
"Music is my passion. I love writing, I love singing," she said. "I've written about seven new songs, so we'll see how that develops."
Ultimo Autumn/ Winter collection is available from Debenhams & www.ultimo.co.uk

Mel B: 'No Spice Girls reunion for World Cup'
Spice Girls star Mel B has dismissed reports that the girlband are planning to reunite for a performance at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The five-piece re-formed for a final world tour in 2007, but rumours of a second reunion were triggered by singer Geri Halliwell earlier this week.
Halliwell suggested that she was in talks with former bandmates Brown, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm over plans for another comeback jaunt, saying: "We are gathering information about a possibility."
However, Brown has since laughed off the "silly" claims via a post on her Twitter page.
She wrote: "World cup! wow the press are soo silly. no I am not getting the girls together for the world cup!!! (sic)"

I would so see Spice Girls again. They could have another reunion for 2011? I want them to bring out a new single/albulm but I suppose they are mostly busy being mum's or working on their own projects. Their tour which I saw them in London in December 2007 was immense! Better than when I went to see them live 11 years ago but that was when Geri was not in the band.

Spice Girls plan reunion – without Posh
JUST when the SPICE GIRLS outfits were safely tucked away in the loft, it's time to start digging them out again.
MEL B, with the help of her fella STEPHEN BELAFONTE, are masterminding a full-scale comeback.
I say full-scale but one member of the line-up is resisting the invitation.
VICTORIA BECKHAM has made it clear to the girls she won't have the time - or desire - to uproot her family again for more fun and games with her old pals.
But Mel B, MEL C and GERI HALLIWELL are getting together next week regardless, with fellow bandmate EMMA BUNTON. Baby is a little reluctant to commit to going on the road but the others are sure they can talk her round.
A source said: "This time next year at least four of the five girls will be back on stage doing the Spice material again.
"Both the Mels and Geri are the driving force behind making it happen.
"They have agreed to meet up again next week and thrash out their plans for the future of the Spice empire.
"Emma is being cautious but the minute she's with the girls they'll talk her round. When Geri left the first time, she was arguably the band's biggest star.
"If they coped without her, they are confident they can make it work without Posh."
But the popularity stakes have changed since the Nineties. Posh was definitely the star attraction on the 2007 tour.
I revealed a couple of weeks back that Mel and Stephen had discussed a one-off Spice Girls appearance at the World Cup in South Africa next summer.
It sounds like the response has encouraged talks about another big comeback.
I went on tour with the girls to Toronto and Las Vegas.
It was a right old laugh and I reckon there's a bit of mileage in the old Spices yet. But next year is far too soon.
In ten years, the novelty factor will be far better and the cheque fatter.
I'd pay for my nippers to go to see Mel B in her catsuit at 50 when the toned tum is more "lardy Leeds lass".

Bunton: No Spice Girls reunion
Emma Bunton has shot down rumours of a Spice Girls reunion.
The chart-topping girl band were reported to be getting back together after Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Emma were photographed on a night out in London, and Mel B hinted that they may perform at the launch of the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
But Emma insisted otherwise, writing in her column for Now magazine: "Despite what you may have read, there's no truth in the rumour that the Spice Girls are reuniting to launch the World Cup next year.

Emma Bunton to judge 'Dancing On Ice'?
Emma Bunton is planning to become a judge on Dancing On Ice, reports say.
The News of the World claims that Bunton has been asked to replace Ruthie Henshall, who decided to leave the show in the summer.
"She's about to sign the deal," an insider said. "She's a brilliant signing. She's fun, sexy, and very opinionated. She'll add some much-needed pop glamour like Cheryl when she joined The X Factor.
"Emma does have great dancing experience because of her time in the Spice Girls and did very well on Strictly."
Former Dancing On Ice star Roxanne Pallett recently said that the show's producers should recruit Arlene Phillips.

Spice Girls: The Musical!
Geri Halliwell has big plans to bring the band's story to the stage
The Spice Girls are set to launch their own musical in London’s West End.
Singer Geri Halliwell wants to bring the five girls’ rags-to-riches story to life on the stage in a two-hour “pop extravaganza”.
And her former bandmates, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Mel B and Mel C, are all reported to support the idea after a secret meeting at London’s top restaurant Nobu.
The news comes just days after Mel B revealed that the famous five had something big in the pipeline and hinted at a major comeback for the group.
Although Scary Spice wouldn’t be drawn on what the plans entailed, she spoke of her excitement, saying: “It's really, really exciting. I can't wait to be singing with the girls again!
“We are definitely going to be doing something together again soon. We're actually working on it right now.”
According to a source close to the band, Geri wants to cast five unknown actresses in the lead roles to play each Spice Girl.

I actually think a musical with their music would be fantastic. As long as it isn't called 'Spice girls: The music'
'Spice up your life' would be a good title.

I actually think a musical with their music would be fantastic. As long as it isn't called 'Spice girls: The music'
'Spice up your life' would be a good title.
Like Mamma Mia of ABBA songs. I would defo see this if they did it!

Mel C: Don't expect another Spice Girls reunion
Mel C has dismissed talk of another Spice Girls reunion.
Sporty Spice told GMTV the girl group are far too busy to get together again, despite talk of a gig at next year's football World Cup in South Africa.
The chart-toppers were reported to be getting back together after Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell, and Emma Bunton were spotted on a night out in London.
Laughing off the rumours, Mel C joked: "Oh yeah, we always meet in very public places to discuss very private matters.
"Melanie was in town, Geri was around, Emma and I are often here, and we just thought we would get together and have a girly night.
"I'm in a West End musical for six months, Emma's doing her radio show, Victoria's doing her fashion line and Geri's always busy."
Mel, who gave birth to her first child, Scarlett, in February, revealed motherhood has been a real shock to her system.
She said: "It's everything everybody says.
"It's wonderful, incredible and very difficult. But, all the great things outweigh all the tough bits.
"I just think the early days are so exhausting. It's really, really hard work."
Talking about her West End debut in the musical Blood Brothers, Mel said treading the boards is harder than her time in the Spice Girls.
"After having a child, this is the biggest challenge of my life," she said.

Mel C: 'No Spice Girls plans'
Former Spice Girl Mel C has denied reports that the band are planning a second reunion.
It had been reported that the '90s girl group would reform for new live shows after the singer was spotted on a night out with Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.
However, Mel C told Metro: "We were just catching up, there was no business talk. There are no plans to do anything.
"One paper said four of us would get together, but that's not true. I'd love to work with the girls again but I'd only do it if all five of us were involved."
New reports have suggested that the members of the girl group want to front a reality TV programme to pick stars to play them in a musical based on their career.
My god I have some simalar stories later.

Emma Bunton provided her fellow Spice Girl Mel C with some welcome support as Sporty made her West End debut last night.
She's the first member of the girl band to star in a West End musical and took over the role of Mrs Johnstone in Willy Russell's musical Blood Brothers.
Mel, 35, who gave birth to her first child Scarlet in February, replaced former X Factor star Niki Evans in the role.

Victoria Beckham's charitable son
http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/showbiz/images/attachement/jpg/site1/20091114/00221917dec40c685d0e25.jpg
Victoria Beckham is "delighted" her son is undertaking charity work.
Brooklyn Beckham - the star's eldest child with husband David Beckham - visited poverty-stricken state Kentucky with Save The Children after learning about the state at his exclusive school in Los Angeles.
The 10-year-old youngster played soccer with children at Manchester Elementary School and presented them with shoes and backpacks, before joining in with an after-school reading group.
He and Victoria then went to read with children at nearby Big Creek Elementary school.
Victoria said: "I'm pleased Brooklyn is learning that by helping and joining other children he can play a role in making his generation the greatest yet.
"Seeing Save the Children's innovative programmes in action, I know that we can begin to reverse the childhood poverty crisis."
As one of the poorest counties in America, Clay County has high illiteracy rates and obesity in children is a massive problem.
She added: "What I saw in Clay County was the hope and promise inherent in every child.
"That's why we have to make sure every single child has a fair and equal start in life."
The former Spice Girls star was said to be "thrilled" when Brooklyn said he wanted to accompany her on the charity visit.
A source said: "She thinks it will help Brooklyn keep his feet on the ground."
Victoria and David - who live in upmarket Beverly Hills - have two other sons, Romeo, seven, and four-year-old Cruz.

Victoria Beckham : Posh to start her own modelling agency?
Victoria Beckham is joining hands with her manager Simon Fuller to start their own modelling agency, according to reports.
The former Spice Girl, who already has her own successful fashion label, is reportedly in talks with Fuller to set up a new business venture in New York.
“Simon knows that Victoria is very savvy when it comes to fashion. His first foray into fashion was to team up designer Roland Mouret and Victoria, which was a huge success,” Contactmusic quoted a source as saying.
“Victoria is a key asset to Simon and he wants her to take on a major role,” added the source.
Simon – who was the manger of Spice Girls – already has a 51 per cent controlling stake in London agency Storm Models and wants something similar in the US.

GERI HALLIWELL'S HAIRDRESSER SURPRISE
Geri Halliwell's new hairdresser was amazed when she greeted him wearing just her underwear - because she thought he was gay.
Geri Halliwell greeted her hairdresser wearing just her underwear.
The former Spice Girls star had hoped to bond with her stylist and reportedly answered the door to him wearing just her bra and pants because she thought he was gay and swiftly changed her behaviour when she realised her mistake.
The unnamed hairdresser told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "She presumed that because I'm a hairdresser I'd be gay. Well I'm not, I love ladies.
"The sight of her standing there in her bra and knickers was embarrassing, so I told her to get dressed so I could focus. She was then embarrassed too and once she'd got her clothes on, she was quite rude.
"I started to feel really uncomfortable being in her home. Not surprisingly, she never called me back. A week later, I found she'd hired my gay friend."
While Geri, 37, has struggled to bond with her hairdresser, other stars don't have the same problem.
Jessica Simpson and her stylist Ken Paves - who previously worked together on a range of hair extensions - have been close friends for years and are regularly seen enjoying evenings together.
Last year, Ken was rushed to hospital after he was hit in the face by a photographer's camera following dinner with Jessica.
Kate Moss is also close to her hairdresser James Brown and featured heavily in a recent documentary following the crimper as he set up his own salon.
However, the supermodel was said to have been furious with how frequently she appeared, causing friction in their friendship.

Bunton: 'My son loves Mel C's daughter'
Emma Bunton has revealed that her 2-year-old son Beau loves Mel C's daughter Scarlet.
The former Spice Girl, who is in a relationship with Beau's father Jade Jones, said that they regularly hang out together with their children.
Bunton told Bang Showbiz: "I had dim sum at Mel C's with Mel B this week. While us girls had a chat, Beau spent the time hugging Mel C's little girl Scarlet. He absolutely loves her!"
Mel C also said that she is fascinated by her 9-month-old baby with Thomas Starr, saying: "I'm constantly astounded by her. I could stare at her for hours. I find it incredible to think that she's part of me and Tom. It's impossible to explain how life-changing motherhood is."
She added: "Looking after a baby is the hardest job in the world. Doing the day job is a bit of a rest! I thought that I'd worked hard before - I lived on so little sleep in the Spice Girls - but nothing could have prepared me for being a new mum. It totally wiped me out."

Spice Girls - The musical
http://www.blogcdn.com/www.queersighted.com/media/2009/11/spice-girls.jpg
The long rumoured Spice Girls musical has finally been confirmed. Unlike the trend of musicals based on established artists such as Queen, Rod Stewart and Take That, the show will not just feature their songs around a fictional story but will actually be more closely based on the story of the Spice Girls. How Posh, Scary, Ginger, Baby and Sporty came from nowhere to the biggest girl group in the world.
The show will be called 'Viva Forever' - named after their 1998 number 1 single. It will feature 14 of their biggest hits. The script is currently being written by manager Simon Fuller's brother Kim Fuller. It's not the first time that he has been involved with the girls. He also wrote the screenplay for the one and only Spice Girls movie 'Spice World' - released in 1997.
The first Spice Girl to leave the group, Geri Halliwell has been heavily involved in the project and is set to turn her hand to producing. The singer turned author will be an executive producer to the show.
'Viva Forever' will be launched in London's West End on November 5th, 2010. Depending on the reaction that the opening receives, the show is likely to go to Broadway and then tour around the world.
In the meantime, Mel C is currently starring in her first musical, Blood Brothers in London. She is the first of the girls to star on stage, and plans to work on a new solo album. Mel B has had a busy year with her burlesque show and TV work, whilst Emma Bunton has her own radio show, and Victoria Beckham has her own clothing range and perfume.

Victoria Beckham to relaunch denim range
Pop star -turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham is relaunching her denim clothing collection under her own name.
She has given the collection a complete makeover, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Victoria’s range of jeans suffered a setback in 2008 when two well-known department stores took the collection off their shelves, citing poor sales.
But the former Spice Girl has now come up with new designs under the label Victoria Beckham Denim. The prices start at $225.

Today its Geri Halliwell.
Geri Halliwell to wed?
Geri Halliwell has sparked speculation she is set to walk down the aisle for the first time, after she was spotted checking out wedding venues with pal Kenny Goss.
The former Spice Girl has been dating British aristocrat Henry Beckwith for almost a year, and is rumored to be setting out plans to make the English gent her husband.
According to Britain's The Sun, Halliwell met with a vicar at London's St. John at Hampstead church for more than an hour with the support of her friend Goss, George Michael's partner.
And after leaving the church, they visited an upmarket menswear shop.
An onlooker tells British newspaper The Sun, "Geri and Kenny seemed to spend the day making wedding arrangements. They were in the church ages before looking at formal dress at the tailors. Geri was giggling and seemed really excited. She wouldn't say what they were doing, but Kenny let the cat out of the bag."
Halliwell, who has a 3-year-old daughter with British screenwriter Sacha Gervasi, was previously engaged to Italian yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi.

Beckham tipped for 'Idol' stylist role
Victoria Beckham has reportedly entered talks to work as a stylist on the new season of American Idol.
The fashion designer is thought to have been offered a £60,000-per-episode ($98,031) deal which would see her dressing the contestants for the live shows.
A source told The Mirror: "This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Victoria's spectacular eye for fashion. She's giving the offer serious thought."
Insiders have suggested that Beckham was approached by creator Simon Fuller because he wants to tie her down with Idol before she can be snapped up for the US version of The X Factor. The star was tipped for a judging role on the forthcoming show last week.
The former Spice Girl has already appeared as a guest panellist on the current series of Idol.

Mel B has revealed that she is working on new music.
The former Spice Girl told the News of the World that she has started writing her own material.
"I was in the studio last week," she said. "I've only done a handful of tracks. I'm waiting to find a sound that I'm happy with but I'm writing all my own stuff.
"I've got a lot going on this year but I'm making time to be in the studio. I was in there 'til five in the morning. I always find at night, when you've put the kids to bed, you can get into your zone."
She added: "To do an album takes time and energy. You can't have distractions going on."
Mel B also revealed that preparations for the new Spice Girls musical are underway and explained that Mamma Mia! writer Judy Cramer is working on the project.
"She's in the creative process at the moment but is listening to all of us," she said. "She's open to all five of our ideas. If it was up to me it will be out tomorrow."

Spice Girls to reunite for London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony
Nineties girl band the Spice Girls have each forged successful solo careers, but sources imply they could reform for the first time since 2008 this summer and play at the Olympic Closing Ceremony.
The five singers, Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), will join other pop stars George Michael, The Who, Take That and Jessie J for the event on August 12.
The group will sing two songs, one of which is reported to be their 1996 hit single 'Wannabe' which was a number one in more than 30 countries.
Insiders say that Halliwell will wear the iconic Union Flag dress which she wore at the 1997 Brit Awards.

What? That's not true at all. I remember how big the Spice Girls were here in America. They were very popular, and they still are. Stop trying to generalize America because you really don't know what you're talking about.
Obviously they aren't a "serious" band, but pop music isn't meant to "serious". It's meant to be fun, which is exactly what the Spice Girls are.
The Spice Girls are iconic, all around the world. Their level of fandom in the 90s was unbelievable, they were massive.
