It was dead serious. Why is it a joke? She's the least prejudiced and discriminating HM of the entire series.

She's the one HM prepared to be friends, be honest and open with all types of people.

She's made friends with pretty much all types of people on the show. She's the least racist/prejudiced/discriminating HM of the series.

Freddie and co only deal with nerds and toffs, Kris and co only deal with cool white people, Noirin only deals with attention providers, etc.

She's prepared to make friends with ANY type of person. Freddie would never do this.

I think there is a lot of truth in what Ahmed said about Lisa. If she wasn't a butch lesbian she wouldn't be branded as a nasty, evil person. There are people in the house who are much nastier and more back stabbing than Lisa, but yet Lisa is everyones fav to hate cos she's an easy target. She is kind hearted; a softie with a hard shell. But few want to see that in their chosen villain of the piece.

The one good thing lisa has going for her is her loyalty to her friends though, she was very loyal to karly when she was evicted. I do not believe for a second she was friends with kenneth, quite the opposite infact, it seemed like she was trying to prove to karly what a dick he was by a lot of her comments. Which is a good thing.

Have you forgotten about the group who constantly ridicule Lisa, and still do? Just because she took a dislike too one housemate doesn't mean she is evil. Don't forget, Freddiie didn't like her either. It was a mutual dislike. The Lisa hate is ridiculous, and yes, I believe if she was straight and pretty (like Sophie, who also disliked Freddie) she wouldn't be hated half as much.

I found it interesting that five new HMs arrive, but right from the off, he magically sticks to one like glue. He also spends time with hardly anyone else now, due to Bea. He didn't spend a single minute trying to get to know any of the other new HMs.

Siavash never liked Freddie, he only spokw to him because Freddie was lonely. They teamed up as they were forced too; loners and individuals.

Lisa kills Freddie when it comes to being totally open, un-prejudiced and friendly with all types.

Bea doesn't even treat Freddie with much respect, yet he's still her lap dog.

They were not jealous, that's just being delusional. Nobody gave a sh*t about his wealth, just like nobody gave a sh*t about Kenneth's wealth. He got along with them at first when he became a HM, singing in the room and eatig luxury food, etc.

They just didn't like him, for whatever reason. We don't have Live Feed, maybe 24/7 with an annoying Freddie was too much. You are playing a very unsubstantiated card here with 'wealth jealousy'.

Nobody cares about wealth. Others in the house have money, and guys like Kris/Tom pull way more hot girls than Freddie does.

Like I said, he runs off with Bea the time she arrives. He has no time for the others.

Exactly! How quickly people forget that most of the house were nominating Freddie for 3 weeks in a row, but unlike Lisa, who was more honest, they were nice to his face. Then when they realized he was popular on the outside, they were all over him to be friends with him. Bea made a bealine for him as soon as she was in the door.
Lisa has stayed true to herself. She is the most honest HM.

If it was just disliking then fair enough, but the 3 of them (kris, karly, lisa) made it their mission in the house to make freddies life as uncomfortable as possible, then suddenly they changed their minds and decided he was actually ok (after hearing whatever it was saying awww when freddies name was read out for nominations)

Look at Lisa in the 1st week for example. She made friends with all types of people; straight males, gay males, blacks, indians, mothers, hot blondes, etc.

So Freddie fell in love the time she walked through those doors? That just makes it worse. His emotions would be directly linked to prejudices.

The point they were making is that someone else deserves to win because they need the money more. It's not like Freddie is the only decent HM, if they did think he was ever a decent HM!

Freddie did try, and was actually part of the group very early on when the house was divided into HMs and Non HMs. I don't know what went wrong, personality clashes and his habits perhaps.

We needed Live Feed. It's also different being in the house. You can't pick up on vibes, subtle behaviour, expressions etc on screen.

Because it would mean he'd be falling in love straight from the off with a girl, just because she fits into his socio-economic category, and ethnic category. He'd have a little more credibility if he fell in love after a week of getting to know her, and ideally other HMs.

It's similar to Marcus hating Tom instantly because Tom was alpha and everything Marcus wanted to be (but wasn't!) ... but in reverse.

As I recall, Lisa was warned, twice for threatening behaviour. hence her keeping her gob shut during arguements now.

She frequently speaks of her warnings, the first time which comes to mind was during the charlie/rodrigo oil thing, she said then that she had had 2 warnings.

Your issue is not with liking lisa, it is disliking freddie. As your posts have clearly shown.

Not really, only because of the boredom and confines of the house. It wasn't any real passion or lust. Noirin is the token fanciable girl of the house, everyone has had some sort of 'love link' to her.

Btw, having some level of prejudice doesn't mean a clear cut scenario of liking one and hating the other, or similar. There's gradual levels of like and dislike, and it's distorted by other factors like how cool/pretty/popular/funny etc a person is.

No I havent, however, they did not go out of their way to make him feel small.

at the beginning freddie said he had feelings for sophie! but sophie through his approchfullness back in his face and went over to kris!!

freddie was in the house the first 6 weeks with no real friends!! angel leaving in week 3!

bea was a newbie and freddie was excited for new people to come in and hope that at least one of them would be his friend!!

To be honest I havent seen many lisa threads full stop.

And no doubt these were mostly made by the same person anyway.

Being a lesbian is no reason for anyone to dislike her, though I know there are a couple of homophobic people about.

Her personality, however, is a valid reason for the hate she gets.

She is a good listener, and doesn't feel the need to talk about herself 24/7. Even Marcus came to her when he needed to talk, like most of them have. I wonder why they do that, if she is so horrible? Lisa felt sorry for Sree and took him under her wing, even though she knew he was unpopular. She is rather motherly.
