seriously, if my daughter brought home a man like marcus, i would be really worried. i think at the start he would seem to be fantastic and i'd like him but i'd slowly start to see how controlling he is. i'd probably see a lot of negative changes in my daughter too

i'd much prefer my kids to be with a player than someone that could psychologically break them down to question their every thought and have to get his ok before doing or saying anything, making her depend on him 100%

As a mother of 3 girls, i'll say i'd be happy if Marcus was their boyfriend.
He's loyal, commited and a bit of a giggle. And he really doesn't wear the boots. Noirin seems to be in charge from what i can see.

God you guys need to remember he's in the BB house, he gets edited to look good or bad and no one is usually like that on the outside. Marcus wouldn't have to be with her all the time if he didn't have to live with her, on the outside if he got turned down then I bet he would just move on. if they were to get into a serious relationship then they would be living together

you can't blame it all on editing, he acts the same during LF

and i haven't said he's got mental problems, but looking at his behaviour, he's got a few screws loose!!

If they were living together it would be because she liked him back so he wouldn't have this issue. Editing plays a massive part in this year's BB due to the lack of LF, BB make us believe that the housemates act in certain ways, numerous threads on here have said that Marcus is normal in the LF. By the way everyone is describing him it makes him seem like he has mental problems, and its pathetic.

Marcus wouldn't bother me unless he started hanging around after she had dumped him. I could talk to him about Nietzche and Star Wars and the Iron Maiden gig I went to at age 15.

I should say that my daughter still wears nappies and cries at gruff men.

I wouldn't expect a Noirin relationship to last & I would advise against a potential wedding.

i watch it most nights (got pregnancy insomnia :cloud:)

marcus is either being moody and agressive or he is being seriously weird. last night he was up for hours alone running and crawling about the garden in his duvet. even when the other hm are up, he'll sit himself either in the corner or in the garden or in the lounge alone

I would hope that I taught my son or daughter to have their own mind and have strength of it - I am afraid Marcus has not had the wisdom of someone teaching him what loving someone means, the ability to set someone free. No one owns anybody else and should not be dictating what others should feel or think. Noreen does not know what she wants but she did not make her feelings clear, whether this was through speech or through her actions and so she I am afraid only has herself to blame for the mess she finds herself in. Honesty is always the best policy even if it means you are alone in the end! :hug:
