I'd probably punch the dog owner in the face (if he had no regrets) and consider calling the authorities to charge the owner with animal cruelty.
Marcus is a fukktard but what he ended up doing was animal cruelty. The owner is the one who subjected the cat to a savage death and destroyed someones property. The dog is only being a dog.
That would be like taking a hammer to a gun that was irresponsibly fired at an innocent person.
