Isaac was hacked off, he knew he stood no chance of going all the way in there, he was under the impression charlie had the prize money sewn up.

Therefore it wasnt worth him staying in, to seem plausible he claimed it was for Noirin etc. Whats the point on staying in and performing when he wasnt going to get any more money.
