Opinions?

I know they're contracted for another show but can you really see this happening after the monumental disaster of this year? I don't care what people say, the show DOES have a timeless quality, what there was to love about it 5 years ago, there is to love about it today(The SHOW, the CONCEPT, not this very actual series (BB10)).

What ruins a series is the wrong cast of HM's. And, let me say, they have reaaaaaaaally failed with the cast this year. The characters all have potential but its just gone unfulfilled. They need to add some spice back into their pickings, Don't be afraid of housemates with a lot more to say, at the end of the day, they cant afford to be scared of what might happen unless they're a threat to other housemates. They need to STOP with the token eye candy, don't get me wrong.. they very much need to keep putting in hotties, just not hotties whose lights are on but nobody is home. I don't necessarily mean dumb either, I mean bland, tasteless, VAPID. Lookers like Sophie, Kris, Noirin,.. all kind of attractive on SOME level but as boring as ****.. even Charlie, they need to avoid people like this because they're not interesting. They don't have that special something, that spice, that va-va-voom.
They desperately need to cut this putting in people's exes crap, its absolutely ridiculous and a sure-fire way to offend fans.

Unfortunately they've let the show down bigtime this year. Can they save it next year? YOU DECIDE.

Of course they can save it. However as BB fans the public have a responsibility to help too. They do have people who monitor forums like these for potential ideas to be used in the shows and to see what the public want.

However its the production teams decision that decide what goes into the show and what doesnt. Ideas for tasks etc have to be low cost high impact maximum entertainment. Its pointless just asking for more alcohol to make evenings more fun.

The exes garbage was geared up to putting in Isaac, to pit one "professional" game player against the house. but wasnt thought through properly, there is another gameplayer in the house currently. there may even be another introduction or twist around the game playing theme. Similar to Eugenes dilema in BB6

The tasks have been fine, I think. The problem lies within the cast.

I disagree - the tasks have been awful - repeats of things done before or just fancy dress song n dance nonesense.

I remember BB7 (when I was having trouble sleeping). They whcked-in the overnight "keep the milk in the container" task........and with twist that shy girl had to sabotage it for them to win............for me that was classic BB and why I became addicted.

The costume rubbish bores me - and it need not cost them a fortune to be inventive....stay awake task from BB9 cost nothing but entertained viewers them getting ratty at each other.

Lol, when you make comparisons like that... I cant help but agree.

Would you agree in saying BOTH need revising then? Because I wont let the fact go they need to choose a better cast of Hm's. I cant.

I agree, the contestants aren't great this series and its the reason many have stopped watching since Launch Night. This year's bunch has been slightly different but thats another matter. The show has become too predictable and its hard, as a BIG BB fan like myself, to see the other opinions of BB-haters but this year I have seen what makes it so boring.
I think it was all the attention on Noirin that may have made it boring so I'm going to see what happens from now on..

Pretty much the opposite, in my view. I think this year's Big Brother has been fantastic but it has been despite the tasks. The narratives created by the Housemates have carried the show pretty much on their own.

The lack of live feed plus the general feeling that the producers are not really investing much in the show is damaging. But I do hope it returns next year.

So do i, but live feed coming back will help it a lot that way we get to see more of the h/m's and judge better for ourselves not just what the h/l's give us:thumbs:

Its slowly dying for me the tasks are rubbish and repeated theres no live feed during the day the house just seems flat no excitement left in it and the housemates have been in other reality shows which i don't think is fair.

I would keep the show going!, I know viewing figures are down, but for me you cant have a summer without Big Brother?. The show gives us a chance to moan about something and without that on Tv what is their to moan about?

Even those that say they don't watch BB, I bet they take a glance and see whats going on still!
