View Full Version : Freddie is nothing more than a sheep

I'll admit I have never really warmed to Freddie but before this week I could have accepted if he won. I thought he was the 'best of a bad bunch', I repsected his eccentricity and I also thought he did have a good solid set of morals that he abided by. I believed him when he said he would stand up for what's right even when others were too afraid to do so.
I think it's widely been accepted that Bea is vile piece of work; imo worse than Lisa. Lisa is loud and angry but she's not really sneaky, she's not clever enough to be really manipulative. Freddie fans say that it's not his fault - he's being led on by Bea but he is responsible for his own actions. He has seen how she has behaved. He wasn't happy about the Noirin-Siavash situation but before Bea instigated the insane hatred towards Noirin and Issac he was prepared to be 'cool' with them. Instead he just followed on like a sheep, ganging up on Noirin. He agreed that she should be socially isolated. He agreed to go to the diary room knowing full well that the intentions behind it weren't noble or a simple attempt to support Marcus. Kris was destroyed for being Lisa's sheepish henchman but for some reason Freddie remains favourite on this board. How he can stand by Bea is beyond me. What happened to standing up for what's right.
Lisenting to him agreeing with Bea as she slated Lisa for being on benefits was also bad. If he wants a career in politics he's going to have to be a lot more diplomatic and willing to see things from a different angle. It showed well and truly that people with a priviledged upbringing like Bea and Freddie can never truly understand what it's like to struggle for money and in that sense can never really help them. Freddie himself is 'scrounging' just off his parents because he was lucky enough to be born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
I cannot comprehend how Freddie and Siavash - who is a mumbling idiot who dumped and humiliated his gf on national tv all for some silly little fantasy he had planned out with Noirin - are favourites on this board.

Yeah, I half lost total respect for halfwit, he was under her spell the first night. It's a shame he's a popular housemate, cos with them two togther they will have a lot of influence together. Bea leading obviously. Bea had it planned out from the start, the old noble, I don't want to **** on halfwit he's my friend thing. She would casually toss him aside now if he was no use to her.

But then again if Bea was to go, what would you be left with? She's literally the only 'villain' this year worth keeping in. Halfwit's become her lackey recently but I still find him rather intriguing. They're a powerful couple.

Lol; it's laughable to think how Bbea was going on about morals in the first week and people actually fell for it. Look at her now. I said she was a manipulative little cow. She's ugly and bitter.

Noirin was better. All the entertaining hm's ended up leaving to save borewit; I'm sure we can do without Bea the bitch. She won't be that interesting now that she doesn't have someone to pick on. She liked picking on Noirin because Noirin was pretty and got all the men which was what Bea wanted

Not really reallynow lol At the start Halfwit was getting stuck in there, but he calmed down a bit and was liked by the housemates. He might bitch, but does not manipulate, he will always have it out with someone. Bea also would, but uses indirect methods as well.

I've blamed Freddie as well. He's worse than her imo, at least she's thought it all up and instigated it. He doesn't even have the strength of character to do that, he's a nasty little sheep

If you listen to Freddie and watch him, he is not agreeing, he will say hhhmmm and nod, agreeably, but he always gets his point across. He will say, I understand how you feel like that, and then give his own feelings on the subject.
He is very clever and confident and is most definitly not a sheep!

Freddie is a clever guy. I think he may be keeping her close as she's a better ally than enemy. He does pull her up on things, in a friendly Freddie way when she annoys him. When she ripped into Marcus for example, and also he commented on her bitchiness too.....In a friendly Freddie way...

Jealous of what exactly?
Oh and Lisa had only been unemployed 4 months before the show. Before that she'd worked her whole life in minimum wage factory jobs. It's not easy for a 41 year old with no qualifications to fnd a job in a recession and the west midlands has one of the highest unemployment rates.

you're right about the fact that he won't make a good politician if he can't be understanding of less well off people:conf:
I don't know why he thinks he is a better person just as he isn't on the dole, he is lucky that mummy and daddy still line his pockets, my parents stopped that when I was 14.
....but tbh I used to live in bristol and there are alot of people like freddie and bea there, and they all act exactly the same - not very nice and also not very aware of how the real world works. They just don't care because they don't have to.

Yeah, they are in their own little world looking down at people on the dole. Freddie with his big house and silver spoon, it annoys me. He was cool at the start, but if a woman can change him that much in so little time, then he can't be that strong willed.

I'll be the first to put my hands up IF i'm wrong. But when Bea leaves I believe the psychologists will back up my theory that Bea really is just a nice girl there's no hidden agenda there.
My reason for saying this is the fact that she gets herself into the mix quite alot. Why would you bother if you wanted to win the show?
She will cause controversy and if she was so smart she would have kept a low profile.

I never said she wasn't being herself. She just happens to be a complete bitch. Being geniune doesn't equal being nice. I'm sure Lisa has been herself and she totally hated.

Yet again it's a females fault that the guy acts like a prick. You girls don't do yourself any favours blaming one another for everything, y'know.
And no, I am NOT a Bea fan. Infact she is my least favourite housemate.

Freddie hasn't seen through her. He's blinded by lust. The other day he was going on about how much he wants to have sex with her. If you had to ask him who his favourite hm's were I bet she'd be up there in the top 3

Bea didn't actually slate Lisa about the living on benefits, but because Lisa has a negative, unimaginative and limited view of life and it's possibilities.
When Freddy laughed at/with Bea, describing her as "really good at putting people down", I think it showed that he can see through her to some extent.
I'm still a major Freddy fan, but I'm liking Bea less and less!

Freddie is a sheep, so are the other housemates, and the shepherdess is Bea.
She has controlled them all bar Hira and Charlie over the last few days.
Hira and Charlie havent followed the pack simply because they are "too nice" they havent sussed Bea though
