Yes Lisa can be rude, her reaction to the spat with markus in the first week with the 'woah woah blah blah blah' comment was childish and did her no favours. She found Freddie annoying, she lost her temper, was at times nasty.

My take on it, Freddie got a hard time at the start over the whole egg salad incident. From his side he was trying to be thoughtful and make a nice gesture. It backfired as most people in the house were annoyed he's used all the eggs without asking people, it was pretty thoughtless from Freddie, maybe he just lacked experience in communal living circumstances.

Lisa, Karly and Chris are pretty different from Freddie, i think their group formed over a general dislike of him as they found him annoying. When people share the same view, it's inevitable they will bond. From Freddie's point of view their behaviour towards him was not nice, he hadn't bonded with anyone else and was left pretty isolated.

Now there's been a change of dynamics in the house and Freddie seems more than happy to condone Bea behaving in a rather assertive and interfering manner similar to Lisa although due to the fact she's not the most articulate her behaviour was seen as more aggressive. He's happy to sit and bitch about David with Markus and Bea, about something as petty as David going to the diary room.

When you look at the behaviour of Markus over recent weeks, the behaviour of Noirin, the behaviour of Bea, i think they have behaved as bad, if not worse than Lisa in the house.

Whether her appearance and sexual orientation have a small part to play for a few people, i've seen a number of derogatory comments from that angle.
Whilst Markus has been on a bit of a journey (he even said himself last week bb couldn't have done any more to make him look good), Lisa is very rarely shown having her good moments in there, so the viewer can't have any sympathy for Lisa when pretty much all they see is her sat on a bench smoking and having a bitch.....

I think it plays a large part, because I've seen MANY derogatory posts from that angle. The hate for Lisa and the horrible, vicious things said about her are way over the top. You'd think she was a mass murderer or something. Bea has been so much more horrible and manipulative, but because she is a straight, educated, attractive female from a privileged background she gets more of a pass.

Look at the Freddie situation - Lisa found Freddie very annoying at the start (like MOST of the HM's, remember) and she didn't hide her feelings. It was all upfront and 'out there'. It wasn't pleasant, but at least we knew what we were getting.

Bea, on the other hand, had heard Freddie was popular with the public and was all over him like a rash from the moment she stepped into the house. Then she found that he annoyed her, too, and ever since she has been putting him down in the most sneaky, devious little ways to try to sway the public against him, and at the same time sending him mixed signals to keep him wanting her - making him look foolish.

Give me Lisa and her bluster any day against that poisonous snake who is Bea.

It's the way things seem to work in our society at the moment. It's fine for katy perry to write a song about kissing girls, it's fine for the likes of britney spears and madonna to kiss at the mtv awards, it's fine for female friends to kiss in a club to tease the fella's when they're drunk, but if you're actually gay (femme, tomboy, butch, whatever) then the prejudices for some individuals come out of the woodwork.
Yeah i can understand people not being impressed with her being on the dole when they have to go out to work everyday, whilst she seems to make excuses. No she's not articulate, and when in the midst of an arguement is incapable of listening and having a rational discussion about the situation. Yes she sits there and bitches about other housemates....the whole boasting about being able to turn straight women was pretty embarrasing.....for me those things don't make someone evil, unpleasant, lazy, but not evil.

Lisa had a personality clash with Freddie and Markus, whilst Bea seems to be giving most people in there a hard time. Definately a lot more manipulative, once again i find her unpleasant. I was having a discussion with someone the other day, we both went to a pretty decent uni where binge drinking was a massive part of life. The stuff people got away with was pretty spectacular, if it was any other 18 years out on the town, they'd have most certainly been arrested, you look at white collar crime and the people who get away with millions of pounds....so i'd definately agree in certain circumstances your background can have an impact on the way your behaviour is percieved and what you can get away with.



Look at the Freddie situation - Lisa found Freddie very annoying at the start (like MOST of the HM's, remember) and she didn't hide her feelings. It was all upfront and 'out there'. It wasn't pleasant, but at least we knew what we were getting.

From the start i found Freddie annoying, but I also think Lisa went to far at times and was pretty disrespectful when she could have just walked away and said nothing....It's not nice to see anyone being isolated, at the same time, freddie seemed to lack any self awareness as to why his behaviour may have annoyed people in the house....still doesn't justify the way he was treated...the hide and seek situation, the putting the bed in the toilet were nasty (although lisa was not directly involved in such incidents).

Bea, on the other hand, had heard Freddie was popular with the public and was all over him like a rash from the moment she stepped into the house. Then she found that he annoyed her, too, and ever since she has been putting him down in the most sneaky, devious little ways to try to sway the public against him, and at the same time sending him mixed signals to keep him wanting her - making him look foolish.

Quite, at least Lisa stuck by her 'friends' and showed some loyalty. I'm trying to work out Bea's motivation for going in to the show. Is it for the money? Because if she's intelligent as she thinks she is, then she must be aware the public will see the way she's treating the people in the house, and she won't exactly get a pat on the back for it when she leaves...

I never thought she did much wrong in the past, well not as much to justify the hate she got. It's just a case of fans over reacting. If it was a choice between her and Bea though I'd kick Lisa out.

Yes Lisa can be rude, her reaction to the spat with markus in the first week with the 'woah woah blah blah blah' comment was childish and did her no favours. She found Freddie annoying, she lost her temper, was at times nasty.

My take on it, Freddie got a hard time at the start over the whole egg salad incident. From his side he was trying to be thoughtful and make a nice gesture. It backfired as most people in the house were annoyed he's used all the eggs without asking people, it was pretty thoughtless from Freddie, maybe he just lacked experience in communal living circumstances.

Lisa, Karly and Chris are pretty different from Freddie, i think their group formed over a general dislike of him as they found him annoying. When people share the same view, it's inevitable they will bond. From Freddie's point of view their behaviour towards him was not nice, he hadn't bonded with anyone else and was left pretty isolated.

Now there's been a change of dynamics in the house and Freddie seems more than happy to condone Bea behaving in a rather assertive and interfering manner similar to Lisa although due to the fact she's not the most articulate her behaviour was seen as more aggressive. He's happy to sit and bitch about David with Markus and Bea, about something as petty as David going to the diary room.

When you look at the behaviour of Markus over recent weeks, the behaviour of Noirin, the behaviour of Bea, i think they have behaved as bad, if not worse than Lisa in the house.

Great points. :thumbs: It's a pity more people don't actually THINK things through like you do, and see what is ACTUALLY happening, instead of just picking on an easy target like Lisa to hate for very little reason and running with that whatever else happens.
It's weird :conf: Most are fickle and jump on a band wagon as soon as someone puts something in their heads.

I only joined here last week, Ive seen a few anti-lisa posts, some of which are way too harsh.

I was at DS before this and those were harsher. But I rarely see any at all that say anything about her being a lesbian.

No, I'm not. I don't agree with you AT ALL that Lisa is worse than Bea (or some others), but thanks for explaining your take on it.

And you trying to make out that everyone who dislikes her is prejudiced against butch lesbians really isnt helping the cause you know. People are entitled to opinions.

Have you ever met someone and decided straight away that you wouldnt like them? Sometimes you just dont like someone...no set in stone reason for it, it just happens.

This is kind of like how I was with lisa, when I first saw her, i thought I would like her, as she seemed similar to someone I know, in attitude and just how she was in general. Then she started grinding on me, I do not know why...the same happened with rodrigo...and then she started being nasty and (i know you disagree) bullying freddie. Aswell as Kris and karly, it was not just lisa, I do not just blame lisa for it. But she partook in the ridiculing of him, which was nearly always done in group form, rather than one on one, which I dislike also, 3 onto one is not fair.

I voted kris out, I voted karly out, Lisa is the only one left for me.

Now Bea is attempting to do the same thing, however, it is not done with a group of sheep behind her, it is just her. This is why i dont feel it is as bad. However, what she is doing is enough for me to want her out, which i will do, when she is up for eviction, be it before or after lisa. But if she is against lisa,I will vote lisa...as i feel what she did was worse.

Does this make sense to you so far? Or are you just going to dismiss my opinions again and say my reasons are invalid?

No, I'm not. I don't agree with you AT ALL that Lisa is worse than Bea (or some others), but thanks for explaining your take on it.

Edited to add: It would be good if you spoke out against posts which you find harsh, instead of remaining silent just because you don't like someone. Make a difference!

Watched most of the series so far and im still struggling to see the problem people have with Lisa in all honesty. She will get evicted sooner or later anyway, she won't win, she most likely knows that. But in all honesty, if you were to pick a top 2 for just being themselves in the house, Lisa would for me in the that top 2. The moment Karly left was the moment she has dropped out of the spot light but yet again, there is no Live feed. So perhaps different things happening in the house have made it seem that she is keeping a low profile.

I think one of the problems people have with her is she is apparently on the dole. The funny thing i find with that is a lot of of the people who moan about her on DS, are most likely on the dole themselves. Finding a lot of time to post a lot of crap for hours on end.
