View Full Version : Angel Should Angel have gone?
This IS from a while ago, but do you think Angel should have stayed?
If she hadn't of gone up against Halfwit, she could of stayed. She was great entertainment, and made me laugh all the time. I'd happily swap Charlie out for her.
What do you think of it?

Her downfall was being up against Halfwit. Such a shame.
Came at a time when all the sheep were nominating anyone remotely different or possessing a personality and character.
Also a time when waste-of-space housemates like kris and karly were still around.
I think kris was such a bad mistake to be put into the house that all his nominations and influenced ones should have been declared null and void, to match his personality.

A real shame she was up against Freddie. Angel was one of my favourites and i would like to have seen her in there for a lot longer.
I really, really liked Angel and wish that things had turned out differently so that both she and Halfwit could still be in the House.

angel was a pretty weird woman, very strange, glad she went.

She was second favourite to win it, but because she was up against freddie was the only reason she went, up against anyone else she would have stayed, i was sad to see her go, she was my fav.

Some people would stop at nothing to undermine the ultimate winner. Why on earth would Charlie have gone? No-one nominated him because his HMs could see he was an intrinsically good person, so gentle, honest, supportive.
BORN winner. Roll on final night.

unfortunately this was how the housemates thought ... she was too different for them to cope with. Did not speak with every other word punctuated with 'like' and 'fookin' and their obsession with alcohol.

Yes, Angel was weird - but this made her interesting to watch. I think she was being herself and it's a shame she was up against Halfwit because I would have liked to see her stay a bit longer. Not to necessarily to win, but to liven up the house a bit.

she was really disliked - she would have went against numerous people, not just halfwit.

I know they go through all the checks before they enter the house but it was good Angel went because I really do think she has a problem.

I really wish she could have made the final.
It's so annoying when I see Lisa is in there and not Angel instead. :bawling:

No she shouldn't have gone, I'm totally convinced that she could have and should have walked all the way to the final because of her genuine warm, caring and creative nature. She was virtually faultess as far as I'm concerned.
She went, basically, because she was a woman up against a man, and there are too many soft women voters ready do drop everything to feel sorry for some bloke so you end up with women voting out the women every year in favour of this bloke or that bloke.
Anyway, I've seen a lot of her since she came out of the house and she looks really well and she has a busy life; she's a professional boxer and artist. Angel doesn't need the show, the show needs her.
The point is, she has abilities that'll keep her busy, happy and noticed long after we're all saying "who the hell's freddy?".
I hope they don't try to get her to go back in, the house seemed to get her down a lot. I think she's better off out of it.

yes, we should have gotten rid of Half$hit a long time ago.
If only we had known.

I loved her, she deserved to be in the final. Shame she was put up against Freddie, and I think also it's a shame that BBUK's minimum number of nominees is two not three, like it was in BBAU. If there was another nominee she would have been safe.

"she could OF stayed" ??
yes, she could have stayed if she won the percentage. she didn't.
it's not that she lost, it's because the public wanted Freddie to stay.
Of course she should have stayed in for our viewing pleasure.
however, what a weirdo to have to live with! I can't blame people for voting her out because she was cringe-worthy!!!!!

I really hope you're being facetious...am I missing a sarcastic tone somewhere in here? I can't believe someone could, with a straight face, describe Charlie as "an intrinsically good person, so gentle, honest, supportive."
The only time I've ever seen Charlie be ANY of these things is when he's "supportive" to Kris and Lisa bullying Halfwit...but "gentle," "honest," "an intrinsically good person"? Definitely not.
The final suffers for having Charlie instead of Angel in the house. :bored:

I didn't find her 'funny'. But her randomness was bizarre.
I wish BB would put Sophie and Benadiere and Saphia back into the house.
mix it up, a bit!:joker:

Yeah, but only because she was up against Freddie. Otherwise I'd've wanted her to stay! She was such a great housemate, I think she could've been brilliant in recent weeks!
