David seems to be very unpopular, yet as far as I can tell he has done nothing really wrong. Maybe align himself with Lisa but Lisa is past her prime bullying days and David is certainly not guilty of bullying anyone.

He's loud and a little stupid but they aren't proper reasons for disliking someone. He can't help that he was born that way.

All I have seen is a man who has been himself and is just happy to be in the big brother house. He seems nice enough and he even works for a charity on the outside.

I really would love David to win. I think he would be a genuine big brother winner just like Craig in the first series. As opposed to mostly fame hungry individuals. It's not likely to happen but it would be great if he did win

I also love David, he's my favourite current HM for sure.

I would also love it if he won. But if he doesn't win, then at least 3rd place in the final would be very good for him.

I hope he gets more popular as the show goes on. He has certainly got more popular lately, which is a good sign.

And that's where David and Lisa differ. David generally struggled. Lisa on the other hand said she just 'didn't listen'. Was said on HL show.

I like the guy too it took me a while to warm to he cuz his voice is annoyin but he is real funny and seem nice and as soon as lisa goes his chances of winning will double if not more

Totally agree. I don't think he's done anything in the house - obviously it was a bad idea "attaching" himself to Lisa but he has seemed to have calmed her down a bit (if that makes any sence - she hasn't been that much of a bully lately)

It would be okay if he won, or at least wasn't victimized by some of the other housemates.

I love David too. He's funny and entertaining, and he is so happy to be in the house. I actually love him and Lisa together - it's like they have known each other for years. Sweet! :bigsmile:

David is okay, he's not the best housemate ever but he's a okay guy. He sometimes makes me laugh, sometimes irritate me just like any other housemate.

I wouldn't vote him out yet.

i like him sometimes.

But I think he definitely plays up to cameras. He reminds me of Brian Bello sometimes with the way he speaks in the DR. He exaggerates his voice like he's doing a comedy act.

He got mean with Bea first in the kitchen. She overreacted. Both to blame there. But I don't think his garden tears were real at all. He's a game player.

But he's entertaining so I don't care if he's a bit fake or game playing.

It's about time us Davids (purely namesake) got some recognition on BB, I would love it if he made it to the final. Would be a massive improvement on BB8's David - poor guy, only stayed a week, wasn't given a chance

I dislike David. On yesterdays (monday) show when David was arguin with Bea about the stolen food situation. David was carlm and being nice and reasonable until Lisa came in.

When Lisa came in the kitchen David started being horrible to bea just to big himself up to lisa.

I like him and agree that he is just enjoying his bb experience!!

His association with Lisa is probably what is putting people off - but I think he is genuinely a nice guy!! Not perfect, who is, but nice!!

No, I don't think he would have been and it's not fair to judge him on what could have been. I don't think he's acting under Lisa's orders. Him and Lisa have a lot in common and enjoy each others company; they met at the auditions as well I think so were friends before.

Bea has chosen her enemies wisely:
- She knows Lisa is disliked by the public and so assumes David will be too. I imagine she sees herself as the 'goody' taking on the 'bad guy' i.e. Lisa and Dave. She sees that Lisa has calmed down now and so will avoid confrontation so David is her target.
- I think she wants to set up a situation whereby it looks as though Dave and Lisa are bullying her as per what happened with Freddie so that she will gain the sympathy vote. Hence her insistance on the fact that 'they don't like me'; 'I don't want to spend time with them it's so obvious they don't like me' as though THEY are the only instigators of confrontation or animosity between them when if anything she is worse.
She's incredibly transparent

In the first few weeks everyone was claiming Freddie was just the victim of inverse snobbism. This may have been true - but now both Bea and Freddies behaviour smacks of snobbery. Bea in particular always talks about how 'ignorant' and 'thick' and 'dull' they are. It's okay for her and Freddie, who had the best education money could buy (incendently, Bea the ungrateful cow, got herself kicked out of college after all her parents investment) but Lisa and David have had it tougher - who knows what they would have turned out like if the roles had been reversed. Maybe Lisa didn't try her best at school but I think David is just genuinely not very clever. We can't all be Oxford graduates. I don't see any signs that Bea is particularly intelligent anyways - she thinks she is much cleverer than she really is - I haven't really heard her have any conversation that would be 'above' Dave and Lisa.

I dont dislike him at all. He certainly didnt bully Bea but he could have handled the situation better. I love his zest for life and seemingly being gormless. I just find him slightly boring, but this may be because hes rarely shown in the HL show, when he was on LF with the whole sweet thing, i was laughing at him, though i dont know why...because it really wasnt that funny!
