I can't believe the housemates would be so petty with Marcus over a single plate! Especially since he had been in the jail for several hours. Marcus is the one who routinely cleans the house. They couldn't just wash the one dish this time? What a bunch of a**eholes.

Standards are slipping in the Big Brother House. Until now the housemates have kept a pretty tight ship, fairly sharing the cooking and cleaning, working together to change the beds, that sort of thing. But with the weeks ebbing away and the final almost in sight, some of the housemates are obviously giving up the ghost. Mainly, Marcus.
Yesterday Dogface was appalled at the state of Marcus' clothes (which she's been washing in exchange for cider). And today he's annoyed a few of the housemates by not doing his washing up. Naughty boy.
"Who's left this plate in the sink?" asked Rodrigo, accusingly, spotting the soiled item in the sink.
"Not me," said Lisa.
"Not me," added Dogface.
"Not me. I had a bowl," said Charlie.
"I thought someone had done it on purpose," said Rodrigo, none the wiser.
Coming into the living room, the case of the unwashed crockery had spread round the house.
"Who was it?" asked David.
"Marcus," confirmed Charlie. Phew. We've found out. "Tell him to wash it or people will start leaving dishes."
"I'm going to put it on his bed," said Rodrigo. "He did it on purpose."
