The Final:

Kim Clijsters vs. Caroline Wozniacki

I can't believe it, Clijsters beat Williams..

But it was very random end to the match! Basically the lines women foot faulted Serena Williams at 64 56 (15-30) making it 15-40 and Match Point for Clijsters. And Serena just lost it saying stuff like "I'm going to shove this ball down your throat, do you hear me?!"

Then the tournament supervisors came on court and spoke to the umpire - Serena then came over and the lines women said she had been threatened and Serena had threatened her life, which Serena didn't like at all. Anyway the supervisors gave Clijsters a penalty point - handing her the match. Very sour way to end the match considering it would have been a joyous moment for Clijsters if she had won it without the penalty point decision.

She'll face Caroline Wozniacki who beat Yanina Wickmayer 63 63 in the other semi (no threats of any sort in that match)

I think Clijsters is going to win the US Open! :hello: BIG YAY!

Laura Robson defeated in a busy day for the girl's draw, having to play two matches in one day, finally falling in the semi-finals. However Guernsey's Heather Watson [11] is through to the final of the US Open Juniors! Good Luck Heather!
