Because he thinks everyone should be up every week, he has said that more than once, that way the publics most unpopular housemate gets the push as opposed to one of the two housemates most unpopular HM's

This way it actually prevents any group block nominating and means a fairer eviction process.

And it probably means Endemol takes a much larger rake in of cash from the votes, as more people will vote to save their own particular favourite.

Yeah but if they always had an open vote to save, the game itself would be fairer, for example Sree might have lasted longer, but more boring housemates would have been out well before now.

Cant see Rodders still being in there if it was consistantly vote to save.
