I went into work last night, and was asked by a mate to sit in on his disciplinary, which lasted about twenty minutes and ending up in a shock sacking. Not a nice feeling to watch a friend and coworker of three years sacked for minimal reasons.

Poor Junky, that would make me feel pretty shitty too!

Got worse by the following 9 hours remaining on shift, in which I get in a further two arguments with the manager about it, got a feeling that I might be getting a disciplinary of my own soon enough. Luckily I'm in the Union, so it should be forgotten.

He was much liked by everyone as well, it was a real shitty atmosphere all night.

Where do you work Junky?

Sainsburys, its not a bad job and I oddly enjoy it most of the times, good money for generally stress free work, I used to work in stressy environment, so now I prefer the easy life. Only some days aren't as easy as they could be. Hope you feel better later on, and that work problems pass without problem.

Just seen your online so I'll reply now.

Oh so your a trainee (its called CTS at ours - although obviously we have different words for the letters than it really is). So.....you're one of them then.....I do produce at night often, big department, on my own, hard work - remember to say thanks to your night staff, it oddly means a bit when a manager says thanks for something that he didn't have to (although naturally we will still insult you, but hey we're night shift).

Hope today was better for you and that they rotated properly.

I hope you get better and feel better soon Dean and BigSis, thanks for your support too :hug:

@ Appearance_Of_A_Junky...

I like nights, I'm one of the few that does. There is a big war between nights and days, but I get on with the Produce night team lol. I'm in at 7 tomorrow, so I always do a walk around with one of them and say thank you to them, if I am not in that day or don't catch any of them from nights I pass it over in Team 5 meetings

Yeah, we have a bit of a war going on as well, but a load of us just play up to it (and the theory that we are weird) anything for a cheap laugh. I like annoying the managers by wishing them good mornings and good nights (in the morning) in a clearly p*ss takey over the top way, but they'd be hard pushed to call you in for a disciplinary for saying good morning. They still might try it though. A produce night team. Im in a large store and its just one person (except Friday) we are always in arguments. We finish at 7, delivery comes in at 1 and our target time is normally over 10 hours. They seem to think we can pull the other four plus hours out of our asses.

Anyway, thats enough now, if I get caught talking to a dayer there would be hell to pay
