Its a great honour for Roddy to be doing this but i wonder how long it will be before Bea starts sticking her pennys worth in.
The girl hasn't met the Queen, she doesn't know the family, she doesn't speak the Queens English

Should be amusing in a couple of weeks when he gets a reply. Although it probably wont be from the Queen herself. All letters to her office are replied to.
Will Rodrigo wet her panties in the Diary room when they read the reply?
She's probably very jealous

Wet HIS pants hehe
I cant wait for a reply. i recon he will get one because the Queen has a duty to the public and because this show is such a high profile thing, she will feel it better to reply.
Im as excited as he is lol

There will be no reply if he calls her madam! Should have let those posh folk stick their oars in, after all Bea sticks her nose into everything else.

I dont know why he was so happy about it, he could have written one at anytime but it hasn't dawned on him yet.

nah seriously all letters directed to any of the Royals go to their individual Press officers, who then decide if it goes before the relevant royal. But all letters do get answered, even if its by some lower ranked press officer who then stamps the named signature and pp's it.

If Rodders ever met the Queen he'd probably kick off on her anyway...can just imagine him in one of his baby strops in the banqueting hall 'cause the Queen tells him she can't make him a British citizen. :elephant:

your an idiot
people send letters to the queen every day, if their lucky they get an automated letter from the queens office. as if shed lower her standards to personally reply and meet a big brother contestant.

An anonymous idiot writes a ridiculous note to an anachronism. I fail to see what all the fuss is about :puzzled:

Actually I dont think it would bother Her Majesty's lady in writing that Rodders started the letter with madam, he is after all a foreign national as he explains in the first paragraph.
The opening salutation should in fact be "Your Majesty," or"Ma'am" or very formally "May it please Your Majesty" so Madam isnt that far away.
