the big M is a man god.
so honest, so pure, so intelligent.
he says to sophie - nah youll be alright, you, charlie, roddy and freddie are gonna make the final. the man is a genius cos thats the bookies odds.
Then the legend, in full self depreciation says - yeah its me and lisa and david and bea most likely to go this eveiction. Again v close to bookies choice.

he really does have a kind and sensitive side, really, often we see these moments on lf but they never make the hl show. He was talking about David too and said "but he did apologise, give him that" and seems to have some genuine affection for some of the housemates. Just odd that he and sophie nominated each other as they so often seem to get along so well on these late night feeds.
And you are right, he is very astute and observant.

no, he keeps winning, you want him to loose, but he wins and wins.
you still want him to loose. You cant understand him; your brains are too small.
you are deluded and weak with the most minuscule IQ; an IQ so small you would fail the spanish army prerequiset. we are better than you. WE ARE THE MARCUS.

Why they all only annoyed at macus??? It was sea of hash who got them nominated as well? He (marcus) knows he is not going to win and thinks that final six will be Freddie charlie rodrigo sophie hiara and siavash. Oh and i am a woman well well over 21 with children older that most of them in there!

freud says that those who make reference to the penis are consumed by self doubt and, more particularly, self loathing.
Do you have a small penis, or do you envy those who have a penis?
Are you a male virgin well past the 'age' of being a virgin? You make it obvious with your posts, that smack of the envy of the penis.
why the self loathing?
have you measured your penis and found it lacking?
why do you fear the man marcus? you fear his penis size dont you.
to coin a psycho analytical term, you are a sad sack, very unlikely to satisfy your sexual partners, thus the bitter hatred of those persons you view as your sexual superiors.

He has a kind sensative side but its definetly covered by his big headed selfish side. People forget why he was favourite to go before Isaac appeared. I dont forget peoples flaws. He doesnt deserve to win this show by far. I'd rather others went before him but he has faults in abundance.

He isn't kind hearted. He is full of inner-turmoil, he is sensitive, he has a lot of built-up emotional problems.
That is not to be mistaken with 'kind-hearted',
but,
Brace yourself because I am going to give credit due to Marcus on one thing you claim for him:
He most definitely has watched and probably reviewed most every season of Big Brother. He most definitely pays a lot of attention to what sort of character wins, what sort of character gets evicted and he does know the rules very well.
You can call that to his credit but the problem with Marcus is that he also likes to pretend he is the sort who doesn't give a **** and has no regard for BB's game show etc.
If I have this right - Marcus was a runner-up for BB9 and wasn't he one that was then hired to do 'dummy runs' actually in the house too?
Well.. you would be well learned too.

Marcus is a leg end in his own mind- deluded to the point that he has convinced himself he is the embodiment of cool.
He a self confessed geek, unable to function properly in the outside world. He's the type of bloke that will suddendly crack and go absolutely berserk, holed up in his ivory tower with every kind of ammo known to man kind.

It's possible for him to be both kind hearted and full of inner turmoil.
He doesn't pretend not to give a ****. He just knows that the air of authority is a fallacy. All men are equal.
Dummy runs means he's probably more comfortable in the house from the start. But to keep up an act and to play the game for the entire time he's been in the house? Nah, his "mask" would have slipped. He's the real deal.
If you don't like him, fairysnuff, but your validation for not liking him is wrong. :spin2:

Define geek?
I think he admitted to the sly one, that he was a self confessed geek in their long midnight chat.
The word geek is a slang term, noting individuals as "a peculiar or otherwise odd person, especially one who is perceived to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, etc."[1] Formerly, the term referred to a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken, bat, snake or bugs.
he definition of geek has changed considerably over time, and there is no longer a definitive meaning. The terms nerd, gimp, dweeb, dork and spod have similar meanings as geek, but many choose to identify different connotations amongst these terms, although the differences are disputed. In a 2007 interview on The Colbert Report, Richard Clarke said the difference between nerds and geeks is "geeks get it done."[3] Julie Smith defined a geek as "a bright young man turned inward, poorly socialized, who felt so little kinship with his own planet that he routinely traveled to the ones invented by his favorite authors, who thought of that secret, dreamy place his computer took him to as cyberspace—somewhere exciting, a place more real than his own life, a land he could conquer, not a drab teenager's room in his parents' house."[4]
Other definitions include:
A derogatory reference to a person obsessed with intellectual pursuits for their own sake, who is also deficient in most other human attributes so as to impair the person's smooth operation within society.
A person who is interested in technology, especially computing and new media. Geeks are adept with computers, and use the term hacker in a positive way, though not all are hackers themselves.
A person who relates academic subjects to the real world outside of academic studies; for example, using multivariate calculus to determine how they should correctly optimize the dimensions of a pan to bake a cake.
A person who has chosen concentration rather than conformity; one who passionately pursues skill (especially technical skill) and imagination, not mainstream social acceptance.
A person with a devotion to something in a way that places him or her outside the mainstream. This could be due to the intensity, depth, or subject of their interest. This definition is very broad but because many of these interests have mainstream endorsement and acceptance, the inclusion of some genres as "geeky" is heavily debated. Persons have been labeled as or chosen to identify as physics geeks, mathematics geeks, engineering geeks, sci-fi geeks, computer geeks, various science geeks, movie and film geeks (cinephile), comic book geeks, theatre geeks, history geeks, music geeks, art geeks, philosophy geeks, literature geeks, historical reenactment geeks and roleplay geeks.
A more recent school of thought sees Nerd as being a derogatory phrase, whilst Geek is simply a description. It is taken to be someone who is an enthusiast, often in things outside of the mainstream spectrum, of note is that in this definition, there is no reference to being socially inept in the slightest.
Thank heavens for Wikepedia

Curious - how do you know he has many friends? Have you met them?
How many unmarried 35 year-old men do you know who live at home with their mum?
As you pointed out - he has a job - so I think it odd that he doesn't want his independence and have his own place!!
Like it or not - he does fit the profile of the type of man likely to have varying degrees of psychological problems!!

Uh no.
He admitted he lives at home with his Mum. He mumbled a bit (but its like) and then said how she has a bedroom but he pretty much has the run of the house.
He has always lived at home with his Mum. He has worked as a window fitter.
He has the same 3 friends from school. They have all been 17 year olds for the last decade and a half.
Marcus is a bad muthafukka legend in online toy painting clubs.
btw.. there is nothing wrong with any of that in itself (not counting the arrested development)
The problem is that Marcus has lived in his own 17 year old boys bedroom for so long he has created an imaginary world for himself.
Worse is that his 3 friends all feed each others fantasy.
Meanwhile.. Marcus is becoming his father underneath it all and wont be able to stop that as long as he is in that superficial fantasy world.
He would be an absolute nightmare husband and should NEVER be a father..
..unless he can get over this ****tard state of arrested development.
Which, sadly, I doubt will happen.
He really is an irrepressible 'darkhorse' with 'darkhorse' being his 17 year old boys self-assigned character.

He lives in his mom's house. His mom lives elsewhere on the coast somewhere.
Of course he has many friends. Why is that in question? He's a likable bloke. Just because he's not your cup of tea, it doesn't make him a friendless emotional cripple.
It is a shame that so many people are as yet unable to appreciate the majesty of the Irrepressible Dark Horse. Hopefully they shall see the light before the end of this year's Big Brother.
