View Full Version : Marcus Why hasn't Marcus been removed?

He's broken the rules more than enough times now, and been pulled up for agressive behaviour. I remember a time when BB was really strict on rule breaking, but now they don't seem to care.

Any views?

when has marcus broken the rules?

Jack_

Because the producer's know he's making this series and one of the only interesting characters left.

If they got rid of him this series would go down the drain, whether you'll admit it or not.

they can't afford to lose anymore housemates besides scheduled evictions. thats all i can think of.

I did think it might be that. Suppose that just proves that BB is on it's last legs...

David was being more aggressive and threatening than Marcus was on this particular occassion-- Mr. "Come on then, let's go at it". Marcus just laughed and called him a fat ****. Housemates are entitled to say what they like ... as long as it isn't somehow "un-PC" or threatening.

Sure, it wasn't the nicest thing to say, but still.

If marcus had gone on like david, the forum would be up in arms, with hes bullying david comments. However because it was the other way around, its ok...

Even BB was waiting for Marcus to say something that sounded threatening (though i could clearly tell he said 'punk' and did so while smiling and siting in a non-aggressive pose) just so they could jump to conclusions.

Both BB and Davo had to retreat with their tails betwix their legs.

Anyone would respond in a threatening way if they were called a fat ****, so not surprised by how David reacted.

What he said is not PC, and in any other setting would have resulted in him getting "punked" in the face.

he's a n*b!
he made loads of bullyin remarks tonight to david and is constantly breakin the rules!
he's thinks he's it and the big man but bb need to remove him and show him whose realli boss!
he deserves to be evicted for constant rule break anyways ... jail isn't enough ... and he's had enough warnings and he even knew before he came into the house that it wasn't acceptable but he still carries on!
Arghhh! He annoys me sooo much!

So his constant rule breaking, nose picking and general chauvanistic attitude is holding the series together is it? If so, then BB has truly crashed and burned...

ManicWolf
06-08-2009, 12:19 AM
He's not done anything worthy of being removed. It's not like he's punched out a fellow HM for goodness sake! His little rule breaks are what make it interesting. Can you imagine having a house full of Rodrigos? Too scared to make any wrong move or break any rules.

RealityTV
06-08-2009, 12:38 AM
If anyone else had called an housemate a "Fat ****" everyone would hate them...
But because it's Marcus it's like he's allowed to say it and you all accept it because it's him... :conf2:

Why?
If Lisa said that to someone, jeez! All hell would break loose...
It was worse than when Angel said Noirin looks pregnant, not even as half as bad... She never even said it aggressively yet a lot of people hated her for it...
Double standards or what... and people have the cheek to call BB for it!!

Someone actually aggressively saying "you fat ****" whilst laughing right in your face? WHO THE HELL ACCEPTS THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOUR? If it was yourself or your kid at school, it'd be a different story...
His fanbase better not even try and cover up for him. He was bang out of order!

He is well hated by a sizable chunk of typical voters and still has more potential to pump up bigger voting numbers.
Mainly by being a 'male chauvinist pig' and especially if they can get him up against the woman he is perceived to have been pestering.
But even still.. .. he has a bit more potential.

I do agree with the OP though - he has been 'carried' for what seems like a lot longer than anyone else in recent memory. More than Rex.

Because he is playing their game!!

All the childish pranks, rule breaking etc. it seems to be what a lot of the viewers like - so it increases viewing figures - which of course is what bb need!!

Apparently - all in the name of entertainment - as long as you like that kind of entertainment!

Yea every post againt marcus is another dennissabre account to some.

However, recently he has made a RIDICULOUS amount of new accounts in the past day or so...so I suppose I understand people are wary of new accounts. Last night was terrible for it, we must have had at least 10.

No need to accuse all new members though...its a bit unfair, he normally slips up anyway, and we can tell which ones are his.
