Which is why it's surprising, I've never seen a thread of that nature, locked.

There's many fan clubs and hate clubs around, all are open.

There was no warning by any mod about abusive posts, etc. Why wasn't there a notice?

There should have been an opportunity for the thread to become more harmonious, if indeed it did explode unacceptably in any way.
