Treat 'em neat, keep 'em sweet.

Treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen.

Which saying would you say makes the most sense?

I'd say the second one, nice guys always finish last

mean/keen, but take a relationship it doesn't mean like beating her up with an iron bar and locking her in a cupboard, I take it as just banter tbh

Things are boring when everything is all nice and perfect. Plus again using the example of a relationship if things do end up getting a bit heated just think of the make up sex

Depends on the person, but yeh smothering someone and being nice all the time is off putting, so a bit of arms length and I dont need you sometimes is good. A mix of both then I spose...and Toms right aswell beating someone up isnt the way to their heart lol
