Jade Goody's widower Jack Tweed has admitted he has turned to drink as he struggles to cope with the death of his wife.

Clutching a bottle of cider, Tweed, 22, said drinking alcohol made him "forget about everything".

He said: "I don't really know how I'm bearing up at the moment. I'm drinking quite a lot, which I shouldn't be.

"I shouldn't be saying it but I don't want to lie to anyone and I am drinking quite a lot and I've got to go and see someone or I've got to stop.

"It makes me forget about everything when I have a drink. I don't like the feeling when I'm not drinking.

"It's not a nice feeling because I sit there and think about Jade non-stop."

Tweed, of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, was speaking at the launch of the Nokia Skate Almighty event on London's South Bank on Wednesday night.

He married reality television star Goody shortly before she died of cancer.

He was freed from prison in May after serving half of a 12-week sentence imposed in April for assaulting a taxi driver.

Jack was only there for the fame and rock and roll. Tough luck if he has alcohol problems isnt it.

It's all an excuse Harry. Another sob story. He is still using Jade after her death.

Who's to say? We just get reports from Gossip rags. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors or how people feel.

I am sorry for that point of view but the question is was Jack there for love of fame.

Yesterdays news again:

"Jack Tweed's three girls in one night claim they were just there to do the cleaning... and how convenient, they're in a band".

Same old same old.

He was just the same when Jade was alive and she always took him back. He is a selfish, vile human being.

Sorry but I can't stand the bloke.

I'm not gonna judge him, if it's geniune he's not the first to turn to partying/drinking/sleeping around to get away from his grief. If it is geniune then he needs help.

However I'm not sure if it is fake, if he was being a gold digger then surely he'd play the sombre veiled widower more and would be smart enough not to flaunt his one night stands around. Normally I'd be the first one pulling the publicity card on him and other news stories like this but I'm not sure this time.

Reason: He's not intelligent enough to do so.

He also hasn't turned to partying/drinking/sleeping around. He has always done it.

People should just lay off. He is vle but who doesn't party a lot and sometimes sleep around in their late teens/early 20's? Just because he's got a dead wife doesn't suddenly mean he's got to lock himself in the house and cry for the rest of his life.

Nobody is saying he does. Let him get on with it. I don't give a toss. But why does he feel the need to go to the papers with his sob stories I wonder?

Because he's being vilified and portrayed as some heartless idiot who is dancing on his wifes grave for something that most people do

It's all for publicity. He was doing exactly the same before Jade died. And now he is using it as an excuse to get people feeling sorry for him. And it seems to be working.
