Beckham confirmed as 'American Idol' judge

Victoria Beckham has confirmed reports that she will appear as a guest judge on American Idol.

The former Spice Girl has agreed to film a "one-off appearance" for the Fox reality show alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi, according to her publicist.

It is understood that she will shoot her episode in Los Angeles later this week.

Earlier reports had suggested that she would appear in two episodes and had been offered a permanent position in the wake of Paula Abdul's departure. However, she is thought to have opted for a smaller role in order to concentrate on her fashion range.

I dubut Geri a single parent could fly over to america, She doesn't trust anyone to look after her child. And Emma is doing one or two tracks with him not a whole album.
