I don't accept that what Shrek said to Zelda (Space Hag) is neccearily true. If Siavash had not wasted his vote and Marcus had not pleaeded with others to vote him out, thereby punishing all housemates. It is more likely that the gruesome twosome would have been up for eviction anyway.

Marcus didn't plead with anyone to vote him out.
They need to shut up, life is unfair and no one cares about their little tears.

No, he didn't actually.
All he said was he wouldn't MIND going home this week.
No more and actually a lot less than other people have said about wanting to go home.

So he was just reminding Freddy he wanted to go home, just before Freddy went in to nominate?
The fact is Marcus tried to influence nominations. Had he not told others he "wouldn't MIND" going home, the nomination results would have been very different.
