View Full Version : C4 still living in their own little world
A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: "We're delighted with the way it's gone so far. The figures are increasing week by week. It's great for us."
The above quote is from an article in todays Independent and I think depressingly proves that C4 are still living in their own little world.

Having read the article it is a typical piece of bad journalism with distortions of facts all over the place.
Contestants have left because of foul mouthing! I don't think so. They left because they don't have the bottle to take the endurance.
Quote : "Meanwhile the contestants are vying to plumb new depths of sleaze"
Rubbish. The contestants are having frank talks just has been the case in other BB series.
Quote: "Even former fans of the show have now become fierce opponents. The Mirror, "
Rubbish. Didn't the Mirror declare itself anti big brother before it even started?.
Quote: "David Wood, deputy editor of the industry magazine Broadcast, said he thought many people were more interested in the football than any goings-on in Hertfordshire, where Channel 4 even installed double beds to crank up the expectation of high jinks."
If that is the case why are the ratings up!!!
Quote: "Crass behaviour from fellow housemates, including bad language and games in which they simulated sex positions, forced her out. "
Rubbish. She forced herself out because she had not got the bottle to continue.
Need i go on.

Actually steve_0 the banner originally had The Big Brother logo on the left and o2's panel on the right. this was I presume part of the sponsorship agreement. However, as the housemates began to file out in a more or less orderly fashion poor old Cellnet who have made the whole thing possible, were relagated to the next line to the side of the main body of the text panel of the news/whatever.
Ch4 must have been glad of the space freed up as, with a rumoured five replacements holed up in a hotel ready for the ensuing rush of a mass mutiny, it will be needed.

Do you think we could get C4 on some kind of broadcasting standards body on grounds of taste and decency :nono::mad:
