I don't understand why Freddie has been so hated recently by so many people on here. Obviously I'm not speaking for all of America, I'm sure that less than 1% of Americans actually watch bbuk, but I really feel like he is the most genuine supporter of all things not evil. He has a good heart, as opposed to Lisa who seems like a backstabbing little bitch that would instantly talk **** the second you walk out of the room. Oh, and that smoking makes her accent sound worse than anything in the world. Ugly, useless slug. The only reason she is still in the house is due to the rather large amount of 40+ year old lesbians that watch the show. Not fair, not fair at all...

In comparison, your version of BB is soooooo much better then ours. I really wish the American producers would learn from you guys.

Go Freddie!

I don't know why so much Americans say BBUK is better because it's obviously not.

Halfwit is hated because he has gotten a very big head. Get him out.

There is nothing wrong with Freddie, but History notes that we brits have a big thing about losers, we make em hero's.
All the while Freddie was getting battered by other housemates he was loved and supported.
Freddie as now had the balls to stand up for himself and argue back=winner.
Brits don't do winning well, we aren't used to it.

WRONG!

He is the biggest supporter of Bea in the house, she can do no wrong in his eyes.

He is acting as her enforcer, picking on the people she decides are not worthy of the royal presence of Queen Bea and King Fuddie

The only reason she is still in the house is due to the rather large amount of 40+ year old lesbians that watch the show. Not fair, not fair at all...

This is the first week she has faced the public vote.

Judging by the result of the public vote it could have been a tactical decision to keep her in, in order to show Freddie he isnt Mr Infallible or as popular as he thinks. It could also have been a lot of people decided to keep her in to watch the friction between her and Freddie/Marcus/Bea etc.

How many 40+ lesbians do you know watch the show?

I'm judging by the diverseness of people that were cast. It seems like everyone in the UK is bisexual based on casting, so, I think there are quite a few 40+ lesbians over there... But I honestly don't know **** about it! :)

I am from the US and must say that I am really enjoying this season of BB UK 10. I have not been this interested in a Big Brother this much since BB 6 US with Janelle, Howie, Kaysar, and James.

I don’t understand the big deal about admitting you have a game plan. After all it’s a game with a big money prize. I identified Lisa’s game plan early on, before Fred even brought it up. She clearly picks housemates to be on her side and then tries to isolate them from the other housemates. She then influences their vote by talking bad about the people she wants to get out of the house.

I want the alliance of Halfwit, Marcus, Siavash, and Bea to go all the way. I got out of my chair and cheered when Fred stood up to Lisa. It was about time somebody did.

From my point of view, Halfwit, Marcus, Siavash, and Bea are in the good alliance. Lisa and David are the enemy. Charlie, Rodrigo, and Dogface are Lisa’s puppets who she controls and they don’t even seem to realize it.

Ah ok then so in effect we only vote for the person who is the same age sex and sexual preference, so everyone who voted for marcus are 30 something males who live at home with their mums and pets cats and collect action figures?

He's annoying beyond belief. He also started throwing around about how much money he has, and that if he was to be thrown out, that would be the reason: Jealousy. Give me a break. He runs up his own.

Are you sure about Rodirgo?

As far as I can tell Rodirgo is his own man. Unlike Marcus, Siavash and Halfwit, who are always saying that they are the only "individuals " in the house.

As stated in other posts on the forum, Bisexual is the new black, its the in thing to be, gay was good but bi is better its so much more hip and fashionable.

I dont think everyone or even nearly everyone in the uk is Bi. There may be a reasonable percentage of the uk who actually are, as opposed to I will label myself this because during adolescance me and my best friend had a quick fumble/tumble to see what sex is all about, oh by the way we are both boys/girls but i do love the opposite sex as well.

I'm from the US and in general I think BBUK is better than BBUS...but not this year. This is one of the best series of BBUS in recent memory while IMO this BB is shaping up to be worse than BB8 (how is this possible, you ask. Well, it's just my opinion.)

I'm also annoyed that the ONE WEEK I managed to persuade one of my friends in the UK (who detests BB) to cast a vote to evict, the eviction gets CANCELLED. (I convinced her to call and vote to evict Kenneth the week he was up before he walked.)

Anyway, I think that the scripted-ness of BBUS works for it in some cases and against it in others. Ultimately it comes down to the housemates (or houseguests, as they're called here). I think the mix BBUS has this year is more entertaining and interesting than the group BBUK has. Again, just my personal opinion, and this coming from a person who thinks BBUK series 5-7 are as good as it gets for BB, in any country in the world.

That said, my opinion of this year's HMs in the UK in a nutshell are this: Siavash is meh, Dogface is mildly entertaining but utterly vacuous, Rodrigo is an annoying old woman, Marcus is a legend, Lisa is a slag, Halfwit is boring, Bea is an arrogant and condescending moron, and whoever I didn't mention (David and Charlie, I believe) are totally expendable. IMO the only reason to watch BB this year was the Noirin-Sree-Marcus love triangle, but that's long gone. I switched off for several days during the height of the "bully" thing with Lisa, Kris, and Karly vs. Halfwit, and I knew the show would go downhill when Cairon left so early.

Wow. Long-winded post. Sorry about that.

Perhaps not as much Rodrigo, but when he gets upset with Marcus, Halfwit, and Siavash for breaking the rules, Lisa sees her opportunity.

I've only watched one series of BBUS and I loved it! I prefer BBUK's realism and honesty when it comes to day to day events as they happen, but I prefered BBUS whole game playing approach. Having a game plan in BBUK is seen as a bad thing (despite it being a game show) as the public have the final say, of course BBUS don't have to deal with this. A mixture of the two would make for great TV.

Definately not the done thing for an english gentleman. He will get thrown out of the club if that was aired during the crib night.

Bounder will be wearing one of those baseball cappy things and saying "high five" next. What is the world coming to. Fisher senior should have got a grip of that rapscallion years ago. He will get blackballed this year if he isnt careful.

Be shouting Boo to the queen next dont you know.

From yet ANOTHER American, I lived in the UK for 7 years, back in USA 2. I got hooked on BBUK during series 2, how could I not?!!?

I think this year is mediocre, not amazing, but not awful, but I do think that a few of the HM's are great and will watch till the end. I try but I CAN NOT watch BBUSA, after a few minutes I have to turn it off. It is like BB merged with Survivor (tactics, etc.) and it just bores me. I hate the background "mood" music on it, the mixed-up editing, and it doesn't have that "fly on the wall" feel at all.

I do LOVE Halfwit, though I base that on the first half of the series. If Bea left he might be himself finally, no bullies, no femme fatales, just Halfwit being a guy. But he is just who he is, and he does feel smug about making Lisa pay for her past mistakes, might come off cocky now, but that is life. We all get smug at times!

I agree that Marcus is legendary, love him or hate him! We will ALL remember him in years to come (at least one).

BBUK doesn't have a TRUE sweetheart, golden-boy/girl, or underdog this year. That is what is interesting! No one is a TRUE winner, all of them have big flaws, even the favorites. But don't we all....

Miss the UK like mad!!!

Go Freddie!

He is not nice and likable.
Freddy was most likely to be put in as a 'baddie' in that he was a rich boy from an upper class family with 'seemingly' no direction in his life and happy wasting time with silly ideas and frivolous living.
A type of character so many working class Brits would scorn, mock or at their worst take joy in seeing get taken down a peg or two.
As an American you might not recognize it but he also speaks in a way that indicates he is 'upper class'.
He was mostly booed and sneered at going in and most thought of him as annoying,
but,
What actually happened was that an even more scorned sort of group took immediate hold on the house:
Wannabe starlets, models, glamour girls.
They also created a sort of 'voting block'.
Then they singled out annoying rich kid Freddy and picked on him and isolated him and kept nominating him,
so,
As with many pundits, commentators, many viewers 'fought back' in a sort of 'protest vote'.
Deliberately keeping the annoying twit in!
BECAUSE he was annoying and bothered them.
Okay,
Now some confusion seemed to happen. A lot of people seemed to show up late and believed that Freddy was winning because everyone else must love him.
He must be popular because he is nice and funny etc.
NO!
That was NOT how this started.
but,
Freddy did seem to be trying to go on a journey and be a bit more talkative, friendly etc.
So in a way he was rightfully winning some over for the right reasons.
Okay.
Now what happened was the 'wannabe models' block was busted up and gone.
Freddy then became aware he was getting HIGH 'support'.
Again KEEP IN MIND this was not because 80% LOVED HIM but because many did NOT LIKE HIM but were DELIBERATELY voting him up to 'protest vote' or 'counter attack' the others,
but,
Freddy didn't know that. He supposed it must be because he is so beloved.
Now in a way this is where we actually get to see the 'real Freddy'.
Forget what they say about seeing the real person in times of crisis, disaster because you can REALLY see a persons character when they have everything, don't need anyone and are wealthy.
Well Freddy, thinking himself safe and popular, became a real little prick alright,
and,
worse than that he is annoying as all **** and you really do start to see that,
and,
just watch a clip of him taking great delight in cornering and ganging up on - what he thinks - is the weak and unpopular singled-out HM.
Then see Lisa call him for finding out he was popular and then brace yourself for one of the creepiest things you will ever see.... "uhhh yeaah...mmmMMMMnmmm. IM CUMMING LISA!"
What a sick little fukk!

He is not just annoying but he is someone who took it for granted and then became as condescending and mean-spirited a bully when he got his power,
and,
he is a disturbing little sicko who moans and 'cums' over handguns and violence.
Sick little waste of space who at the age of 23 already has brain damage from drug abuse and was a 'cum sponge' for (he claims) at least 30 different men. I suppose he got them to pose with guns too?
He has lost all his support and popularity for good reason and not the least of which being having an amused chuckle about collecting welfare for 'pocket change' - which is highly offensive to a lot of Brits who have been humiliated to collect just to eat basics and survive and didn't have a gay sex palace for 'handgun roleplay' mushroom tea parties and body-paint bisexual orgies.
Maybe he used his 'welfare check' (as you say) to buy himself more edible sex paints?

Lisa is a menace but she has actually won over people for the fact her and David, as nasty as they are, for at least being very straightforward and being themselves and actually calling out the 'smugs' and the deluded and the now arrogant ones like Freddy.
You might hate them but they are blatant and no BS and often correct.
Like nasty Simon Cowells.
In the UK those are actually considered among the most highly rated qualities in a person.
Blunt, straightforward 'naked truth'.

and yes, BBUK is a whole league beyond the American Version. I know plenty about BBUSA (more than I'd like) and it was great in its own way,
but,
BBUK is just a whole entire level above.
Having said that,
Unfortunately it is BBUK that has looked to the USA this season and gone in the direction of a summer long 'Jerry Springer: The Play'.
You would almost believe that BBUK people watched BBUSA 6 over the holidays and aimed for that.
At times this season almost seemed to be aiming to become BB9 USA (the horrible mistake 'we dont want to talk about it' season)
BB9 UK having been just amazing.. just simply amazing,
but still,
Even the worst BBUK season (which is this one so far) is still just a league above and I strongly agree I only wish Alison would spend more time looking at BBUK and less time recreating her high school with trash wannabe mactors from LA nightclubs.

What a corker of a post, well done!!!

Uhhhh.... no. Loved freddie from the start and always will. He has never done anything wrong, and like the guy said a few posts before, I started cheering when he got in Lisa's face. I'm a low-to-middle-class buisness owner and realize that his wealth quadruples mine + $1,000,000... it has nothing to do with status or sexuality, Freddie is an honest and lovable person. I don't understand how people from the UK don't see this!

BTW, the uk version is way better because you get to know the real person, their true personallity shines through. In the US all we see is a bunch of plotting scheming little bitches that want the $500,000 + prize. Granted the **** that we do is way cooler from task to task, but it doesn't make up for the realism that is lost.

Down with Lisa, David, the lil bitch Rodrigo, and Dogface...
Good luck Freddie to win, Siavash for #2, Marcus for #3, and the other 2 are going to get evicted in the next 2 weeks so who cares?
