Which do you think is the better forum for discussing BB and - importantly - why?

TiBB, because the people are nicer and the mods let you speak your mind.

DS has been ruined by its moderator nazis, serial alerters and the z-list agents that pretty much run the site.

Half the time I get banned on there, it's for commiting libel. Hilarious, yet depressingly true.

Criticising some of DS's sacred cows such as Imogen, Grace, Chanelle and Rex can often land you in hot water.

I was going to join the DS Forum but they don't accept Yahoo mail accounts and other free email accounts, unless you paid £5 ! No way was I going to pay to join a forum ! So I'll say TiBB is better. TiBB also have nice smileys,lol.

I was going to join it last year for BB9 but didnt because of the same reason as quiteman1963.

TiBB Is so much better, and I think DS Is so over rated they were mentioned on BBLB WTF!

That is exactly the reason I didn't join DS .

I find Tibb to be a little more lenient with posters and free speech is mostly accepted on TiBB.

DS is ok for tv news, game news.. But not BB nor it's ugly forum.

TiBB lacks the depth of DS and it should give more, BB won't be on our telly box forever and needs to drift away slightly from being just a BB fansite, bit like the DS style with the news, celeb news, tv news..
But one thing TiBB wins on is the forum, fantastic layout and good mods..

BB Fans join to talk about BB Not play **** online games...

So if your looking for BB Fans to talk about BB then this is the place.

If you want to talk about other crap then go on another site.

I chose to join TIBB because after browsing different forums as a guest for a few weeks it seemed the best one, the lay out is very good it`s easy to read and member seem friendly.

... Caf2009, yes this is the best BB fansite but like i said before, BB will one day be off our screens for good (pending any new contract deal after BB11) and this site has more to offer than just BB.

During BB off-season it would be good to have X Factor news writen by TiBB staff for the homepage..

If TiBB just keep flying the BB flag then it will become a sinking ship..

Even Mark and James knows this, the site must change during the post BB-years.

I can only judge this place compared with the Ch4 BB forum that I used for the past 2 years, and I have to say this place is far better. On the whole people are friendlier, I seemed to fit in here a lot quicker than on the Ch4 site which was very cliquey and bitchy at times and it put me off posting much towards the end.

Mods here are also super on the ball, but pretty lenient at the same time.

It's all good so far for me!

I personally feel TiBB is the better quality forum. Most members are friendlier, you can have an opinion (most of the time) without being castrated, the mods (especially James, Kaz and Mark) are very friendly and tolerant, and the majority of members on here off season are absolutely amazing people who, once you get to know, are hilarious/intelligent/fantastic members such as Jen, Andyman, Marcjswp, Ross, Shuan, Matt, Pinckmichk, Rory, Lauren and Princess to name a few. :thumbs:

I was banned for one week for referring to Noirin as a prostitute.
On return I posted a Counter-Ban. 2 weeks. No posts from me.
They then gave me an 8 week counter-counter-ban which is actually 6 weeks from the time their ban would be up.

It is no contest. DS is all but an unofficial official BB website and C4 all but monitors it, reports on it and it is also full of friends and family of BB HMs.

TiBB is the last remaining foot soldier. One of the last places for free speech and wacky diatribes,
yet,
at the same time keeping most of the total morons from ruining like it was a yahoo chat box.

TiBB pwns DS any day of the week. Purist mods too.

Trust me, we do have plans to evolve TiBB into more than just Big Brother, but I'm sure you can appreciate the amount of work it's going to take to overhaul this site. James and I have been discussing some things lately, but the end goal is a lot of work for just 2 people, who lead lives outside of TiBB. :wavey:

In a perfect world we'd need a web designer, a graphic maker and someone who knows PHP/SQL, to help us achieve the goal of expanding this site. Time will tell :spin2:

I prefer TiBB as a forum but DS as a site. I like the news site, I think its quite good and has a lot on it. The forum is awful though its too negative for me. Thats just the impression I get from reading, if I posted I'd end up in arguments all the time :laugh2: TiBB is more friendly.

that's true but most of them pretend they are normal forum members though which can lead to some funny exchanges of views

i haven't tried any others but i won't be bothering, it's excellent on here,the mods always respond to comments, but allow you to have your say, even if you think differently and don't support who they support, vicky in particular.

they change the topics frequently, so it never gets boring, and i like the karma ratings, even though i am in the minus, probly cos not a marcus fan, lol.

and i love all the different smilies!
