A couple of weeks ago I was sort of apologising for begining to like Lisa, now I am liking her more than most of them. before anyone's says no I haven't forgotten about how she was to Freddie, but as the weeks/months have gone on ALL of them (except Sophie, have showed the have an aggressive side, it is just Lisa's was the first to be seen)

IMO now what are seeing is HM trying to bring out Lisa's aggression again and it not quite working.

I hope Lisa stays a few more weeks wiping smirks off some of the HM faces.

I agree. She's had the roughest time of any HM in that house. And they say Halfwit was bullied? Lisa can't look sideways at someone in team SMUG that they aren't singling her out for one thing or another. Halfwit picked her out from the start as a pawn in his 'victim' game; she is accused of influencing nominations when there is no proof of that, and ample proof that Halfwit does exactly that; both Halfwit and Bea slag her off all the time in the DR to try to influence the viewers - Bea said she was a cockroach they couldn't get rid of! When have you ever seen Lisa go into the DR just to slag anyone off?
They are currently trying to rile her up again - that was Halfwits early tactic. But it isn't working this time around.

Hi Vicky J ... I agree I was beginning to forget why I really didn't like Lisa in the first few weeks, but I think she has genuinely improved.

Some of those clips I look at now, and see how patronising Freddie must have come across to her, and it is not surprising she reacted badly.

Also, I think she has been so 'bullied' on this forum that I am inclined to be on her side just for that!

She has improved because ken told her she was hated :wink:

And because she is on her last warning for being intimidating...therefore no improvement could make me like her as now she is just being fake to avoid nominations. We saw the real her early on.

As I have said in another thread, Lisa's behaviour in the early weeks was dreadful. I mean, there is a kind of a hardcore of "fans" trying to retcon this year's Big Brother and rewrite history but I don't really feel the need to address that.

The question one needs to ask oneself is whether her character has changed, whether she has learnt some kind of life lesson, or whether it is simply the circumstances she finds herself in which have changed.

As Lisa's friends have been evicted from the House, she has become less horrid, bitched less and generally become more passive. There was also a significant turning point when she gained the impression from he new Housemates, particularly Kenneth, that she was disliked on the outside. Both these facts support the proposition that she has merely toned down her horrid behaviour due to a relative shift in the balance of the House and in order to try to stay out of the public eye and away from being nominated.

I do not think she has changed.

Unfortunately, the balance of the House appears to have shifted slightly once again and it looks like Team Nasty, who many of us believed were a spent force, are now in the ascendancy and will carry Lisa to the final. Unless something unusual happens this week we are unlikely to get another opportunity to to evict her.
