Why is Charlie getting away with it?

Some of us are, but alas, I fear it won't be enough, Charlie is a perfect housemate for those that like the shallower aspects of life, perfectly consumerable and promotable.

Outcasts, Individuals and Freaks will never win in what, is just a popularity contest, what actually happens during the 14 or so weeks doesn't matter, its that final vote when they will finally buy into the mass production of that housemate on vote on mass.

I enjoy the show, not once have I enjoyed the outcome.

He starts arguments then a day after apologises. It makes the house mates feel sorry for him so they won't nominate against him well at least that's what I think anyway.

I didn't like him much at first either, something did not seem genuine, but I kept reading that he was in it for good reasons, his mum was sick, he had a troubled schooling etc and tried to cut him some slack, but he has gone from irritating, to annoying to downright unpleasant and offensive. He's shown himself up to be two-faced, grudgeful and a total fake. He uses the c word far too easily for someone who says "I am an angel", and "it upsets me when people don't get along" Added to that the absurd nice-but-dim, cheeky-chappie "Alison Wonderland" attention routine he does :yuk: has run its course, and so has his time in the house.


He will have lost a LOT of fans this week, far more than the handful he may gained.

It is really hard to believe at times.

Kathreya was also a sly, underhanded gameplayer (though she didn't have the same aggressive, nasty streak as Charlie) and people still sussed her out despite the very friendly HL treatment she received.

Charlie's cunning has mostly been laid bare for all of us to see (though they still edited out what he did to Angel's eviction outfit :mad:) and so many people still buy into his pathetic little act.

On the plus side, he is also now the one in the spotlight. He can't keep this up forever and the mask is slipping already.
