Random thread... but is anyone else into boating / got a boat?

We got our 4th boat (biggest one we have had so far) about 3 weeks ago... it's a Sea Ray, not entirely sure on the model, but it looks exactly like this -

And these are some pics I put on twitter from when we went out at the weekend -

We have a chalet in Abersoch, so that is where we launch from, then we go around the bottom of the Llyn Peninsula and stuff >.<

Anyone else?

Ah yes, I do!

Seen quite a few of them around :)

Quite thin, and usually long, aren't they?

For some unknown reason, I really want a Fletcher boat, I always ****z when I see one  I wonder why that is  Xx

Yes ski nautiques go very fast, this one in particular can reach over 100mph!!

BTW, where do you use the boats you have????

Thought so!

They're used loads where I go, they're fab for water skiing... and I go out where the Wakestock festival is held... so everyone practices there too!

and in Abersoch, google it if you don't know where it is >.<

We have a chalet down there Xx

he lives in Cambridgeshire and he has a lake next to his house (his own) and goes wakeboarding and water-skiing there every weekend. I have been there and been in the boat at its top speed, its actually awesome!!

Awesome!!

I love going in the morning or at night when it's proper smooth on the sea, but when it's really choppy it's like being on a very bumpy road!! It's awesome!

My uncle had a speed boat and fishing boat which we always used, he moved to Canada so I dunno what he did with them

My uncle had a boat on the canals around here, it gave me a phobia of deep/open water when we went on the ship canal (which is huge) in a tiny little boat for a reason I can't remember

Where I live, pretty much everyone owns a boat.
