If sophie and bea have not been punished for noms talk and its just marcus v freddie
Then BB have well and truly shot themselves in the foot, the ratings will plumet and the dullards left apart from siavash or whoever survives friday will be like watching paint dry.

BB have really messed up big style, they could and should have put dogface and bea up as well for noms talk
So the double standards that marcus, freddie and siavash have been talking about tonight is very evident, if this series was really amazing and all were contributing to it then we could lose a big character and there would be more to watch anyway.
But they are nowhere near having that luxury, and so when freddie or marcus goes their viewing figures will go with it.

Its not BB that gave them the opportunity it was endemol, and im sure they love the controversy being created beause we are all talking about it.

It's not really disrespectful, Big Brother doesn't really care what they say to them, or get offended. They are getting them viewers, that's what whey should want.

I'm sure that BB are quite enjoying the fact that they're raking in large amounts of cash from the entertainment value this year.

They really are making a mistake putting two of the best housemates up though... I wonder if they'll laugh when they have less money for tasks in next years BB because they fecked it up.

I can see it now. Musical chairs with the winner escaping nomination. Who can sit inside the longest when the sun is blazing for a special party. Who can stay in bed the longest without farting?

They were the only two to discuss noms before the rule change and BB have twisted it so that by now allowing them to discuss noms freely they have covered up sophie and beas rule break nicely.
The rule change has saved bea and sophie
Sophie came right out and said " i want you to nominate me this week guys"
And she has received no punishment whatsoever.

Why aren't they trying to get rid of the deadwood.

If they had any sense, they would.

Rodrigo, Charlie, Lisa and Sophie should all be the next to go. Mabye not in that order but they should all be the next people out. And David, see i forgot one. That's how dull some of them are.

Although all do play a part to a degree, they are kind of boring.

Marcus, Freddie, Bea and Siavash have kept it alive recently. Plus with Lisa biting of course lol.

don't be silly!! why will the show be over?? if freddie leaves, it still leaves marcus in there to do the same as he's done for the whole show (break rules and not give a ****). if marcus leaves, freddie will still be there to do the same as he's done the whole show (analyse EVERYTHING)

the plus for either of them staying is that bea will still be there for both of them to argue with

it's the same every week. "the show is over if [insert name here] is evicted"

Ok so Big Brother should have just left them to it? How can they rebel against Big Brother if they can get away with everything?

Well that's pretty much the point... they rebel, BB punishes. It's opression in the form of a gameshow and the rebellion causes entertainment. Whether you like the form of entertainment or not... it makes better viewing than people sitting around bitching and smoking waiting for the next low budget task BB can come up with.

BB instills the need to rebel by making the house boring, so if they get any backlash from the HM's then it's entirely their own doing. Point ended.

I respect your opinions but to get so mad at people giving you something to watch that's interesting other than the mindless drivel thats repeated constantly elsewhere, then I truly don't understand.

They changed the rules instead of punishing for noms talk. Marcus wasn't punished for noms talk last week so what are you worrying about? Thats why they announce on noms day that siavash and marcus had broken rules and so the whole house was up for eviction, come on now what show are you watching lol
That turned everyone against them and so their punishment was that
The public decided who should be saved lol not marcus or siavash they didnt know what their fate would be.
But dogface hasnt even been told anything about her rule break What show are YOU watching. BB changed the rules so they could talk about the nominations because everyone kept doing it. sophie discussed noms BEFORE they were allowed to chat noms what show are YOU watching lol For crying out loud! Firstly Sophie wasn't the only one who talked about noms this week BEFORE they changed the rule and secondly, they changed the rule because they kept talking about the noms because they were sick of housemates deliberately breaking the rules to put themselves up. That way, they can no longer break that rule. This is instead of the punishment. It's called playing them at their own game. THAT is the show I am watching!!! Thats not really answering what i said, i said it should be a punishment for sophie and bea only.
I did answer what you said originally. I said that it is no different than last week when Marcus and Siavash broke the rules and all were put up for eviction. That was not a punishment for them but for the other housemates. This is no different! Come on! They have to draw a line somewhere! It is getting boring when housemates continually keep putting themselves up in this way. I think it was a good twist and it makes it more interesting. We will probably get a chance to see people discussing it with each other on tomorrows HL show. Should be able to see who the real so called gameplayers are.

the plus for either of them staying is that bea will still be there for both of them to argue with

it's the same every week. "the show is over if [insert name here] is evicted"

never happens. No without marcus or freddie, the show will die because if its not marcus and siavash causing things to happen then its freddie.
Once we lose one of them the others wont have time to stay long as the boring lot will vote them against each other and bang goes your entertainment show.

Yep whichever one doesn't go next week will be up again next week along with Siavash, then the survivor will be up against probably Bea the week after, and please God they had better survive against her!

I could actually see Siavash make it to the final week, I think he would beat Freddie or Marcus in a vote to evict and definitely Bea so he could be alright.

If the three musketeers are going to be torn apart then the only justice of it is if ONE of them can at least make it to the final. And the only one I can see doing that is Siavash.

eh? are you from pre-school or something?

No I just think it is stupid of them to be so disrespectful to Big Brother when it is Big Brother who has given them such a great oppourtunity in the first place.

Great viewing eh?

Great show eh>

big brother didn't put them up, the rest of the house did. they were a dead cert to be nominated even before nomination talk was allowed. they had p****d off the rest of the house

Are you blind... it was pretty obvious who was getting nominated before the rule change. If they'd stuck with last weeks tactic, Sophie would have messed it up for everyone because she spoke about noms before anyone. BB chose to ignore this and let them nominate knowing that Freddie and Marcus would be up after their quite funny antics.

Engineered. Big Brother put them up.

i don't agree with that.

freddie and marcus would have been up anyway after the freddie/lisa/david/charlie arguments.

marcus would have been up for the whole fag-gate incident.

sophie could have been up for talking about nominations, but she wouldn't go over those two anyway.

you can't just say that because they were all up last week for talking about nominations that the same would happen this week. throughout the whole off bb, the normal punishment was for those rules breakers to be up as well as/instead of the hm actually nominated. if anything, last week was not the normal punishment for nomination talk

*EDIT* plus siavash and marcus talked about nominations as well!!

Ive always wondered why BB wait to anounce the BB noms so long, must be to gauge every possibility to change things for the better of the show. If they don't change it so every HM is up, they will well and truly have ended their 10th series for anymore decent entertainment.

The amount of things they could do is incredible, ive come up with loads, like a cup run eviction process for example, every 2 HM's go up against eachother via an online vote from monday onwards until they're left with 2 for a phone eviction.

The muppets that run BB have no genuine imagination of how to spice things up, bar on very rare occassions.

I really like Marcus but the show will survive, it always does. It may suffer in quality for a few days but new storylines, heroes and villains will be created and Marcus will soon be forgotten. It's happened with all the other BB10 'essential HM's' that have been evicted.

Depends...some people find the fake romance with charlie and rodrigo interesting...watching people smoking also...and talking about eating...and sleeping...

I could go on with the absolutely brilliant things the other housemates do to entertain us...

That's what I mean. Marcus & Freddy actually haven't discussed nominations this week or have they, correct me if I'm wrong?

So therefore they shouldn't be punished for this, there should be a twist. The 2 housemates nominated are immune as it means housemates can say right I want him and him out and Big Brother surely wouldn't allow this as they probably know that Marcus & Halfwit are keeping the show together at the moment.

Anyway we'll see what happens on the Hourly Feed tomorrow and the Hourly Feed on Wednesday, I'm looking forward to this week. :)

If it was not for marcus and the cigs and the jailbreak what would of been on tv the last 2 nights?
I believe the show is just being held up by marcus and freddie and siavash and without them its big gay brother everyone mincing about kissing eachothers cheeks and being nice?? how boring is that

what is it with this "disrespect for Big Brother" - starting to sound like Rodrigo!!

I think Freddie, Siavash and Freddie are great fun - yeah sure, freddie is acting a bit immature but so what? there are some unbelievably dull people in there who are simply not worth watching

and I agree with you it will not be worth watching if Marcus and Freddie go in the next two weeks - and frankly I can't see them surviving unless there is a twist

and you're spot on about Sophie - at the moment BB has protected her massively. Let's see if something else happens to change things up otherwise it is blatant bias

there could be big ramifications for BB for this. Even with reduced support, freddie and marcus still have a reasonable following. the public will not be happy if it's between these two particularly if the likes of Bea and Lisa are still in the house

ratings could disappear for the final week

I have just done a post on this in another thread, but if Freddie goes the shows screwed. Infact i am pretty sure he will get evicted, and the house will be full of dulllards for the next few weeks.

I aint even gonna plea for you to keep Freddie, as its a foregone conclusion he will be evicted this Friday sadly

The problem is, he is against marcus, who is more entertaining...theres no denying it.

My two joint faves are freddie and marcus...but I would much rather freddie to go than marcus. I always said I would try to make sure freddie was in the house longer than lisa, though I wasnt bothered about him winning it...but for the sake of the show, I have to vote him out

For you yes, but for mostly everyone else there will still be housemates to talk about. The only reason people talk about Freddie and Marcus so much, is the fact that BB is shuving them down our throats.

tbh i dont mind Marcus, but Freddie is something else  If Freddie goes, my BB will be starting not finishing.

I think that this concept of BB and respect is very weird. BB has not respect for the hms and yets requires them to respect it. BB is a fantastic experiment :

There are few hms who understand this there are three of them in there and two are up for eviction.

NO its not that BB is shoving them down our throats, its the fact that the editing crew have nothing else to show other than marcus, freddie and siavash, if it wasnt for those three we wouldnt have a highlights show at all.
Lisa smoking and david boring, sophie talking about wanting to go yet she doesnt boring, charlie and rodrigo fake relationship boring
And as for bea she is now joining lisa and crew in their pursuit of being the most boring indivuals ever to appear on the show.

Thanks god for the rule breakers who at least are giving us something to watch.
