View Full Version : Did Team Pathetic think they were being rebellious?

Marcus etc seemed to think they were getting one over on Big Brother, when they were playing right into bb's hands.

Last night's show made me realise that this show could last a hundred years, but people would never work out how to play it.

Siavash has let himself down, joining forces with those other two prats.

3 plonks together maybe becomes unstoppable - when Halfarse goes Friday it'll maybe shake them up

Just loved the way Marcus tried to land Siavash in it by saying he didn't't need to apologise to the house mates because Siavash was the one that broke the rules.

If it wasn't for 'those other two prats' the show would of been boring last night.

It would of just been the usual Charlie and Rodrigo gay bitching about something pointless or Lisa manipulating everyone to get who she wanted up for eviction.

Well Marcus is a ****** who actually benefits by all this when he becomes an even bigger legend among his fukktard 17 year old (mentality) friends back at the 40 year old virgins Star Wars club,
but,
The two who will later feel beyond stupid have to be Freddy and Siavash.
-Siavash was all but the winner-to-be and despite the idiotic Noirin thing he was well easily able to springboard off that to even greater heights in popularity if only he played it cool.
- Freddy is another who was well on his way to the Final and a total possibility of winning or at least runner-up.
Now he has gone ahead and become just about the most annoying and unlikable little arseclown in BB10.

Freddy may not need the money but I'm sure he would have desperately enjoyed the acceptance.
Siavash may very well look back and repeatedly kick himself for all but throwing away the winnings.

Marcus though.. he is an idiot who has really gotten free passes to get this far. His only interest will be retelling his awesome rebellion stories to his friends over and over and how stupid BB was and he didn't give a **** and told them etc etc.

Good post. Made me laugh and I agree with most of what you said. But Marcus has this kinda pathos that you can't help but be drawn to.... he really is like David Brent.

I like Marcus but I don't agree with everything he says or do. Marcus once said to BB that he doing things not because he wants to but just to put more action in the house and that BB should play along with him.

The way people think that "I will stay myself" is very boring. No one can stay himself and be fun to watch for weeks. Marcus is wrong in many ways but what I like about him its that he tries to provoke things and not only arguments.

I'm just watching this and you would easily believe you have a 13 year old (Marcus) and his other 12 year old friend (Siavash) leading their 11 year old friend (Freddy) on the stupidest 'bad boys' event of the school year.

The problem for me the viewer - it isn't coming off as hilarious or lovable or endearing.
It is coming across as a ****tard, a follower/instigator and the nerd kid who is now so excited its his big chance to be with the cool kids,
ugh,
Its really just an annoying sort of thing to watch. Slightly amusing for a minute but then kind of 'pathetic'.

In a bizarre turnabout - Charlie and Rodrigo now the Adults.

What would you like them to be doing then??? Sit around the garden all day??? Maybe go for a swim??? Have a bit of a bitchin session about Lisa??? It's a show as Marcus said, it's about entertainment, all the others are pretty much boring. The ones who don't want to break the rules and get hung up about every little thing clearly want to win. You need to lighten up, sit back and enjoy the show.....

No...Charlie and Rodrigo are simpering repetitive bitchy weasels and Lisa and David are dullards. Bea has imploded up her own jacksie and Sophie is generally 'nice'. If it wasn't for the 'childish' antics of Marcus, Freddie and Siavash the programme wouldn't be worth watching. Those 3 are the most entertaining HMs on BB in years.

Here, here:thumbs:

Siavash's allegiance with Marcus, in particular, is going to be his downfall if he isn't careful!

Marcus, undoubtedly, has engineered all the rebellion and rule-breaking because he thinks he is being clever! He doesn't give two hoots about how his behaviour affects everyone else - because he thinks bb is the Marcus show!

He thinks that he has the intelligence to outwit bb - more of his deluded ideas! On the contrary - that just shows what a complete fool he is!! The guy obviously has issues with 'authority' - probably because he himself is not a figure of authority - because he is so childlike - no one takes him seriously!

He is a bad influence on the other guys because they are clearly very easily led!! Really disappointed in Siavash -again!!

Freddie is just a spoilt little rich boy getting what he wants - getting to be on bb. He has automatically assumed the role of 'house intellect' which he is not! He just thinks he is! Bea wiped the floor with him last night because her intellect is far superior to his!!

Don't like Bea - but think she was spot on in a lot of things she said to Freddie! He likes to constantly point out and analysize other hm's faults and weaknesses - but can't handle someone doing that to him! I just think that Freddie's appearance on bb is just him dipping his toes in how the other half live - I think he is pompous and arrogant and does see himself as being 'above' the others in there!

Sick to death of all 3 of them now - they are ruining the experience for everyone else - whilst they play their stupid, childish games!

David to win!!

I totally believe that 'you believe' that Marcus, Freddy and Siavash make for entertainment.
In the same way you most certainly believe 'The Transporter' is among the greatest movies alongside Transformers.
In the same way you cannot understand why anyone would watch the news or anything else when WWE Smackdown Slamboree is on the telly.

Now the good news for you - Big Brother has most definitely pandered more towards you than ever before.
In fact that is probably why you started watching Big Brother, if not its why a lot of 15 year old boys are now tuning in to see these 'crazy badasses' like 'darkhorse' like totally screw the show up and use foul-language Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!

ITS NOT REAL LIFE...ITS A GAMESHOW!!!!

Only the gullible David and Rodrigo go on about the BB rules as if they are the 10 commandments...why should they be? Why shouldn't HMs push it and see what happens? BB will mess with them anyway and Endemol chose these people for a reason so go with the flow I say. Its more entertaining than spending 24 hours a day smoking, bitching & sleeping (Lisa/David)

Lets look at the facts:

Sophie - broke the rules on discussing noms (several times) is anyone criticising her? Nope
Lisa - has broken the rules several times through her direct abuse of Freddie. Again... amnesia has set in.
Charlie - see above...plus all his 'jokes' on Rodrigo...rule breaking physical contact
Rodrigo - pouring oil on Charlies bed

The list goes on..

They're all guilty of breaking the rules at one time or another...woo big hairy deal get over it and entertain the viewers I couldn't give a rats as long as it's worth watching.

Bea is not clever otherwise she would realise that the BB viewers are watching her switch allegiances and generate artificial tension in order to do so...and she will pay for it if she's up for eviction. Freddie is smarter than Bea without a shadow but has trouble expressing himself when he gets emotional - plus he thought Bea was a genuine friend and clearly she isn't so he is torn/gutted. He'll come good though.

Marcus and Freddie are the only ones in there with a shred of integrity and what appears to be a genuine friendship...all the others are marriages of convenience and means to an end.

That is all well and good if that is what you find entertaining!

Many of us don't want to watch grown men showing off and behaving like little boys - could tune into one of the many children's shows if that is what we wanted!

Yes they have all broken the rules - but not to the same extent - rule breaking is now just a gameplan to some!!

I agree that Freddie has trouble expressing himself which does affect his ability to engage in debate/argument - but I believe that he does not have the 'insight' he thinks he has!
His attitude that he knows best is both pompous and irritating! He is not a psychologist - but tries to act like one!

As for Marcus and Freddie having integrity - well - we will most certainly have to agree to disagree on that one!!

Of course not... I'm not Charlie, Rodrigo, David or Sophie and you are evidently neither funny, nor qualified.

Suffice to say that you are wrong in every regard - a predicament I'm sure you are well used to finding yourself in.

If more peple are tuning in to BB then my point stands (thanks for backing me up) - this BB IS more entertaining as a result of these 3 being in the house. You can argue the rights and wrongs of their abhorent, selfish and uncaring (boohoo) actions from the dizzy heights of your equine vantage point until the cows come home aka Charlie and Rodrigo weasling their way into the final. But when these 3 go BB will cease to be entertaining and poeple will switch off in their droves.

Contrary to your stance that BB are pandering to my type (lol) of viewer - the bland generally always rise to the top in this show and this year will more than likely go the same way. That's why I for one will enjoy the true entertainers for as long as they are there and do my utmost to pretend that the thickies, drones, clones and moans do not exist.

Rebel Team of Children = Exciting to teenagers and the shallow.

Bea = fukking fascinating as it gets to people who are actually intrigued in the psychological and sociological consequences of a proper BB game.

BB10 has taken a huge dip in the ratings this season and pandering to 15 year olds who want to see 'Jerry Springer: The Play' and idiots acting cool with cheap 'rebel' stunts.. ..well that is a sign of BB failing. Not winning.

Whos to say they wouldn't be even lower if Marcus et al weren't in? I certainly wouldn't be watching if it reverted to type like it has the last few years.

As for the viewing demographic... I don't doubt theres some truth in what you say about holidays etc but...take a look around you on this forum in particular then explain how that can be news to you??

I am very much not the typical BB viewer I assure you - I used to watch it back in the early series but for me it got stale and predictable and this year is the first in 4 that has actually caught my interest to any extent.

As for David to win...for what exactly?

For me - David seems the most genuine! He is pleasant enough, likeable, easy going and can be quite funny! He is not out to impress - and I like that! I believe he is in there for the experience - and probably doesn't expect to win!!

I liked the original idea of bb - and, like you, are disappointed in the way it has gone downhill. I would like it to return to its old format - but, unfortunately, that isn't likely to happen!

They're pretty self-centered for what they did and Rodrigo is right for pulling them up on it.

But it is still incredibly funny to watch and the more they stir things up the better. I do NOT want this show to return to the state it was in before Noirin got evicted.

BB-Eye please note, Rodrigo is never, I repeat, NEVER right.
Thank you for your time
